Responsibilities The Functional Area Supervisor (FAS) supports the overall mission of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) by facilitating the operations of a local Field Office. As a FAS, your responsibilities would include: * Assists applicants by providing requested forms and directing applicant flow, * Answer phones on site and direct calls to the appropriate person(s), * Provide support to applicants utilizing electronic systems, * Schedule and or reschedule dates and times of interviews and naturalization ceremonies, * Perform tasks related to preparing for and conducting naturalization ceremonies, including distribution of naturalization certificates and the retrieval of documentation from applicants, * Provide support for the processing of forms and applications used in the adjudication process, * Report progress on functional area tasks to Site Manager and government as required, * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Physical Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent * 3 years of related experience * Must be able to obtain a Public Trust/Suitability Clearance under the Department of Homeland Security from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services * Ability to read and understand proficiently in English * Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs. or more in a physical environment * Ability to perform tasks while bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching At Sciolex Corporation, our top priorities and most valuable resources are our employees, which is why we offer a competitive total compensation package.
