Franchise Development Manager

We are currently looking for a Franchise Development Manager to add to our team.

This is a remote position so location of the individual is a non-factor.

This position is responsible for the sales process from initial solicitation through contract completion.

Includes identifying and sourcing prospective new franchisees for (3) brand concepts, pipeline maintenance and adherence to sales processes.

Must passionately represent the brand(s) and be able to ethically coach prospects through the discovery process, financing resolution and market development.

Primary Responsibilities Award 10 New territories per year in our family of brands.

Award 12 combined Resales in our family of brands.

Initial contact with prospects.

Follows the sales process with prospective franchisees thoroughly.

Executes monthly and yearly sales objectives with regular tracking and progress reports.

Works closely with Director of Development and Franchise Business Consultants on strategic initiatives to achieve goals for Resales and Matchmakers for all brands.

Follow-up with all prospect lead flow from brokers/internet/franchise member referrals for the Allegra MarketingPrintMail & Image360 brands.

Conduct a series of phone calls/collateral exchange/webinars and meetings over a period of weeks with each qualified candidate.

Perform territory availability checks for brokers and others.

Communicate regularly with brokers to develop on-going relationships and solicit leads.

Organize and host regularly scheduled Discovery Day events for prospects and brokers at Plymouth home office.

Attend agreed upon broker conferences and other targeted trade show events.

Coordinate new lead generation activities (e-mails blasts, broker webinars, broker Discovery Days, and bring on new broker networks).

Liaison with legal, new member training, operations, and administration to bring new franchise owners into the Alliance Franchise Brands system.

Achieve targeted results and ensure timely and effective execution of development targets.

Develop benchmark criteria to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of sales programs and activities.

Additional Responsibilities Communicate with existing franchisees to ensure appropriate validation and debriefing of candidate calls.

Up to 40% travel may be required.

Attend regional meetings, annual conferences, and kick-off meetings.

Post Businesses for Sale Listings to build organic lead flow: Biz Buy Sell; Businessmart.com; Bizquest.com; Businessesforsale.com Knowledge And Skill Requirements 5-10 years of franchise sales.

Resale experience is a must.

Mergers and Acquisition experience highly preferred.

Must possess knowledge of business valuation process including understanding of Profit and Loss & Balance Sheet statements.

Strong results-orientation and determination to meet and exceed targets.

Highly polished/professional demeanor, positive attitude, and high energy level.

Demonstrated ability to design and follow a system related to helping clients navigate through the franchise discovery process.

Experience in creating and implementing lead generation collateral materials.

Working understanding of FDDs.

Ability to interact with other company department heads at a high level.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; a logical thinker who can work through complex business issues and make decisions quickly.

Superior oral and presentation skills.

Ability to prioritize and allocate departmental budget accordingly.

WORKING CONDITIONS Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

Work may require weekend and/or evening work.

Able to occasionally man trade show booth.

Able to present to groups in person and online.
