Cognizant is seeking a strong Flexera Technical Consultant for an immediate need. This is a client-facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers. Job Description : we are looking for highly motivated, intellectually curious, and successful SAM Implementation Expert who can implement and monitor the SAM tool across Datacenters and EUC estate. Post the technical implementation, the entire enterprise discovery would need to be analyzed, the entire Software Entitlements to be digitized and configured within the tool. The role will be crucial in managing day to day tasks in tool, with direct liaising with client technical SPOC and vendor technical SPOC Specific Responsibilities: Having experience on Flexera Asset manager implementation and upgrade management skills. SAM Tool Inventory agent implementation & configuration across multiple Platform. Create and configure the SAM Asset Manager database. Creating a High Level & Low-Level architectural design documents for ITAM Tool implementation. Configuring & Integrating the SAM Asset Manager tool with third party data sources like SCCM, Active Directory, Service Now, CMDB, Cloud Servers, and SaaS Portals etc. Experience in Configuring Beacons and creating a customized business adapter depending on client requirement. Good Knowledge on checking Agent connectivity issues, troubleshooting and analyzing the logs. Performing Daily/Weekly/Monthly health checks of database, application servers. Perform Bug fixes & Patching activities whenever there is an update for SAM Tool. Having fair understanding on Software Asset Management, operational activities like Import, mapping the Software procurement license information in SAM Tool. Research, evaluate, recommend and implement methods, policies, processes, best practices, techniques, technologies and tools for software license management. Qualifications: Minimum 7 -12 Years of experience in SAM tool implementation (predominantly – Flexera Asset Manager Tool) Strong Technical Background ITIL V4 foundation certified (Good to Have) SAM Implementation certification preferred (Flexera) ***Cognizant is recognized as a Military Friendly Employer and is a coalition member of the Veteran Jobs Mission.
