Field Supervisor

Position Overview: The role of the On Call Field Supervisor is to work with the APH staff to ensure the quality and consistency of care for APH clients as well as the training and C.A.R.E.

proficiency of APH caregivers.

The goal of this position is to bridge the gap between APH office staff, caregivers, and clients, ensuring a successful continuum of care in all areas of the senior life cycle.

Essential Functions: The Field Supervisor is responsible for caregiver training/mentoring (both on-site and off-site), and ensuring that caregivers are comfortable and aware when going into shifts with clients for the first time.

The Field Supervisor is also responsible for caregiver spot checks and monitoring while with clients and maintaining successful relationships with caregivers and clients through ongoing productive, and positive communication.

Responsibilities of the Field Supervisor: Caregiver Spot Check/Monitoring visits Caregiver orientation/skills lab training Supplemental scheduling/coordinating as needed Communicate and document any and all concerns regarding clients and caregivers After hours on call scheduling Present at first shifts with clients, when applicable Ensuring caregivers are aware of and comfortable with the expectations with each client.

Will triage all calls and, if deemed necessary, will contact the Nurse to resolve the issue.

Skills/Qualifications: 1.

Previous experience preferred but not necessary 2.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 3.

Telephone skills 4.

Good internet skills, including use of e-mail programs and group messaging 5.

Good organizational skills 6.

Education/Skills Requirements: 2 to 3 years experience in an office setting, preferably in the Home Care Industry, but not necessary Have a Certified Nursing Assistant license Willing to get a background check and complete a drug test and randomly thereafter.
