What Youll Do

The Field Learning Manager (FLM) is responsible for leading REEF’s training processes for all hourly Staff Members, Managers in Training (MITs), & ongoing Manager development programs within their assigned areas.

The FLM partners with the HR Department to ensure compliance with HR systems in their assigned areas.

The FLM is the liaison between the Business Application Departments and the Operations Staff Members to ensure consistent in-field training and the rollout of Company initiatives.

The FLM partners with the City General Manager (GM) to ensure REEF training standards are consistently followed.

Responsibilities:

Systems Management
Lead the centralized New Hire Orientation
Coordinates and Proctors all operational certifications as needed
Partners with HR to assist with Orientation onboarding training for the non-field employees within their MSA
Manager and Staff Level Training
Builds positive relationships with MITs and promotes open, honest, two-way communication through consistent touchpoints
Partners with the City General Manager (GM) and Application Leadership to create a training schedule for each MIT
Ensures the Certified Training Locations follow the MIT and Staff Member training programs as designed & validates completion of the program
Creates individual training plans for Personal Development Plans (PDPs) defining a career path for growth and development for managers and assigned staff members
Assesses MIT performance through observation and interaction to provide feedback, as observed and as received from MITs, to promote continuous learning and improve operations performance
Assists with the development of Managers in critical positions within Certified Training Location (all applications)
Partners with the City General Manager (GM) on the certification process for all existing and new Certified Training Locations and Certified Mentors
Manages the MIT transition from training to home location utilizing the Transition Checklist
Defines, manages, and communicates the Personal Development Plans (PDPs) for area succession planning with the City General Manager
Leads the new opening training with the application leadership and the certified trainers in the city for all business applications
Conducts a needs analysis of each location, creates an action plan to improve operations, delivers plan to application leadership and City GM, works with certified trainers to achieve REEF’s high standards
Conducts all Train the Trainer classes to train and certify all City Certified Trainers and Manager Mentors
Company Rollouts & Initiatives
Provides training support for rollouts & initiatives throughout the organization
Partners with GM to ensure the proper implementation and continued execution of the new initiatives is achieved throughout the organization
Management Tasks & Administrative
Partners with the Application Leadership on administrative tasks associated with the all new hire training programs, including, but not limited to, creating training schedules, conducting follow-up calls, scheduling follow-up visits, setup up MIT and staff member transition
Conducts weekly calls with City Managers for alignment on training needs and focuses within each MSA
What We Want From You:
Excellent computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
Effectively facilitates classroom sessions for groups ranging from 5-50 people
Excellent time management, organizational and critical thinking skills
Ability to multi-task; works well independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and all local, state, and federal labor, food safety standards
Basic Performance-Consulting skills
Understanding in Adult Learning principles
Excellent leadership & development skills
Ability to motivate and influence others
Maintains composure under pressure
Ability to drive long distances and be away from home a minimum of 1
– 4 days at a time; longer for new operations openings
Ability to teach, coach, and mentor at all levels of the organization
Minimum three years management or training experience preferred
Must have a valid driver’s license
