Learn more about American Integrity Insurance and our job opportunities at www.aiiflorida.com This Job: Title: Field Claims Manager The Field Claims Manager oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of a staff of field adjusters who are responsible for inspecting, investigating and negotiating homeowner/property claims including training and development and compliance with company policies and procedures.

He/she addresses additional roles as needed within the Claims department to meet desired outcomes and provides support to the claims department leadership in driving claims strategies.

What Youâll Do: Identifiy and address coverage, underwriting and legal issues.

Review, evaluate, counsel, and coache staff.

Document and maintain appropriate records of performance.Conduct, assist in or supervise employee orientation and identifies and participates in on-going training and development needs of all team staff.Review all reserves and payments within established authority.

Assist in establishing and improving accurate and timely reserving procedures.Communicate quality and service standards to staff and vendors.Assist and train Adjusters in the recognition and investigation of fraud, subrogation, and/or salvage.Establish effective procedures for the timely resolution of claims.Continuously evaluate and improve the overall effectiveness of the unit, including developing and improving workflow to optimize functionality.Review and supervise claim handling throughout the unit.Identifiy and advise management of trends, problems and issues, as well as recommended courses of action; recommends to management new ideas for continuous process improvement.Lead by example in professional knowledge and development.

What Youâll Need to be a Top Candidate: Education: Bachelor’s Degree required, or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Experience: Five (5) to ten (10) years related experience and / or training with specific experience managing a claim team.

Licensure: State of Florida 520 or 620 License required; AIC or CPCU designation preferred.

Skills:Strong technical knowledge of claims management.Proficient with Xactimate estimating software.Strong technical knowledge of building components, materials and repair methodology.Field experience required.Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.Leadership, management, and motivational skills.Analytical and interpretive skills.Strong organizational skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.Outstanding negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Ability to meet or exceed defined metrics and performance competencies.

Your Environment: Working Conditions: Normal business office environment.

Must be able to remain in a stationary position for periods of time while constantly operating a computer and or other office productivity machinery such as a calculator or telephone.

The person in this position needs to regularly travel with field staff and to home office to communicate with coworkers.

The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 10 pounds.

Travel: Field travel required.
