From tuition reimbursement to exercise classes in the office, embrace a better career with AvMed and join our teamPosition: Field Benefits Consultant (Requires to travel within Miami Dade and Broward)Scope of position: The Field Benefits Consultant is accountable for meeting / exceeding assigned sales quotas for the Medicare line of business in the assigned territories with a strong focus on self-generated leads.

Responsible to cultivate and maintain relationships with AvMed prospects; member; providers; external business partners and community organizations through telephonic, virtual, and face-to-face interactions with individuals and groups.

Conduct presentations that sell and promote the product’s value proposition and company brand.

The role is expected to provide ongoing support and service to members as needed to promote high levels of member retention.

Must have expertise in the Medicare line of business, with working knowledge of Individual Health, including but not limited to benefits, regulations, process, competitive landscape and emerging trends.Essential Job Functions:Works assigned territory, establishing and maintaining relationships with community organizations Avmed contracted providers, and retail locations to conduct Medicare marketing events to generate leads in order to present Medicare Advantage plans to prospective members in accordance with terms established by AvMed, CMS and the State of Florida; driving self
– generated enrollments and meeting sales and retention membership goals and metrics while working independently to achieve assigned sales and retention quotas and maintain set minimum closing ratio.Conducts outbound telephonic campaigns; participate in Avmed community member engagement activities; and conduct new member welcome events to provide ongoing support and excellent service to AvMed Medicare members, to promote high levels of member retention and satisfaction.Develops and maintains relationships with network providers in assigned territory to ensure Provider satisfaction with plan; Provider understanding of AvMed benefits, and identify Provider co-branding opportunities.Recruits and develops relationships with external stakeholders that serve as referral sources.Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by managementWe Offer:Competitive SalariesComprehensive Benefits: Medical Plans, Health Savings Account, Dental, Vision, and morePaid Time Off, Company Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off Cash-In401(k)plan with matching contributions, Tuition Assistance, Associate DiscountsYou have:High School diploma requiredAssociates in Business Administration; Management; or other related fieldFlorida Health Insurance (240) or Florida Health, Life & Variable Annuity (215) required0-2 years ofHealth insurance /Managed care experience; preferably Medicare sales experienceAHIP required or obtained within 2 weeks from hireYou May Also Have:Knowledge of Medicare sales processes, rules and regulationsAbility to engage with the community through service, organizations, activities, and volunteerism.

Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsDemonstrates passion about continuously improving consumer experience.Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office: Word; Outlook; Excel, and PowerPointProficient in technology to include high level use of laptop and mobile phone devices, understanding of or comparable knowledge of CRM tools and other sales/marketing resources, preferably familiar with SalesforceResults and goal orientedEnvironment:At AvMed, you’ll find a family.
