The Data Products team develops cutting-edge products to answer some of the companies most important questions and to solve some of our toughest challenges.

We work with Fox’s senior executives to define and deliver strategic projects that provide key insights into our business, and we are looking for Executive Directors of Data Products to be technology leaders on the team on different verticals, including Ad Sales.

In this role, you will work with leadership to drive and launch strategic and operational data initiatives across the company, identify new opportunities and products, and work with your team to deliver top-notch solutions.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Define the future state vision and prioritization of opportunity areas that deliver value across the business and drive more productivity/revenue

Work closely with leadership to align on priorities and define, drive, and launch strategic and operational initiatives

Evaluate high-impact strategic projects, identify a realistic and executable strategy, and develop roadmaps

Help build the foundation to incorporate research-driven qualitative input to drive revenue insights and pricing direction

Identify new opportunities and services to enhance existing systems and platforms

Liaison between the technology organization and the Ad Sales business and maintain a strong relationship with user base, including senior executives, ensuring customer satisfaction during all interactions

Work intimately with cross-functional areas of the business to ensure seamless execution of initiatives and smooth operation of business-as-usual processes

Provide thought leadership relating to products and needs and be a trusted partner

Design business solutions and collaborate with business users to prioritize requirements and define the delivery roadmap

Execute initiatives, oversee all stages of the design and implementation process from requirements gathering to wireframes and high-resolution designs

Collaborate with engineering teams on project development and delivery

Work with your team to develop work plans, gather and synthesize relevant data, lead analyses and user testing

Define processes for your team to adhere to (i.e., requirements documentation, systems configuration, test documentation and execution, issue identification and resolution)

Spearhead efforts to evaluate new products and suppliers: perform analysis, manage pilot tests with business partners, evaluate performance and make recommendations to management

Conceive new feature ideas and pitch them

Work across verticals to identify and share best-in-class practices and products to leverage across the portfolio

Build and maintain a strong relationship with internal teams by proactively raising your hand, rolling up your sleeves and getting the job done

Work with management to drive adoption and manage change

Create comprehensive executive ready presentations and communicate initiatives and status to senior management and to the broader organization

Provide consistent and frequent updates about initiatives, issues, defects, and enhancements, etc.

Understand and execute escalations for critical and non-critical instances

Support and troubleshoot issues (process and system), identify root cause, and proactively implement sustainable corrective actions

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

10+ years of technical product management experience (e.g., creating strategic product roadmap(s) from conception to launch and working with cross-functional teams)

4-6 years of experience in a similar highly analytical environment (e.g.

top management consulting firm, corporate strategy, or media/tech company analytical role)

Experience growing a team from the ground up and comfortable being a strong leader, but also being hands-on

Entertainment industry experience with a preference for the production and operations and/or Ad Sales background with a deep understanding of the Ad Sales business (both linear and digital preferred)

Demonstrated success in creating innovative and user-friendly software applications

Strong storyteller with excellent data visualization skills who can bring research findings to life in a creative way

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
– high-energy, team-first, positive attitude; motivated to work hard in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment

Strong technical background or familiarity with software engineering

Strong visual design skills and passion for interaction design

Proven track record of delivering high-quality products

Proven ability to make features versus time-to-market trade-offs; experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and assertions of business value

Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously and communicate effectively with all stakeholders

Ability to think at a high level about product strategy

Self-motivated and accountable, with a high level of commitment to responsibility

Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strong bias towards data-based decision making; ability to create structured quantitative/qualitative analyses and solve complex problems

Excellent customer experience intuition
