Description:
The project manager role is a key position within the Lignetics Corporate Technology team to manage individual projects (typically >$150k total installed cost) and oversee the company capital portfolio. This role works closely with all individual site leadership teams for the safe and effective execution of capital projects. This role also provides mentorship to company project managers with varying capital project management skill sets. This is a remote position reporting directly to the Manufacturing Technology Director as part of the Lignetics Corporate organization.

Responsibilities / Duties
· Determine and define project scope and objectives working with plant site managers and their leadership teams
· Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
· Track project costs to meet approved budget
· Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
· Lead teams in the design, development, and execution of complex and highly visible large company projects.
· Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders identifying progress and any adjustments
· Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
· Utilize industry best practices, techniques and standards throughout the entire project execution
· Monitor progress of the company capital portfolio and make any adjustment as required
· Measure project and capital portfolio performance to identify areas of improvement
· Perform other duties as required
Qualifications / Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical / chemical preferred) or a related technical field
· 10+ years of direct project management and related experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
· Direct management of multiple capital projects with single projects up to $1MM total installed cost
· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
· Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget & timeline
· Proven ability to solve problems creativity
· Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies and best practices
· Experience with project through the full life cycle
· Ability to work multiple activities and programs with a good understanding across all engineering disciplines
· Proven ability to successfully perform self-directed work
· Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
· Exceptional presentation skills
· Excellent communication skills with all organizational levels (operators, site management, directors and executive leadership)
· Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
Working Conditions
· Work is performed remotely with occasional in-person team settings
· May occasionally work in manufacturing plant locations as required for project execution & support where protective gear is required
· May occasionally climb ladders with elevated working platforms
Salary: $115,000 – $130,000 DOE, plus annual performance incentive bonus
