MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.*Description*As the Product Development Manage you will be responsible for the following:* Be the go-to person internally for a product family* Oversee specs, product development pipeline and have strong interactions with marketing and sales* You will also lead the development of new products in the family from conceptualization to pre-production prototyping – including specs definitions with stakeholders, engineering design and the coordination with manufacturing teams overseas to create prototypes* You will also consistently perform technology research to generate new ideas for new products – bench-marking within competitors and other industries, strategic thinking on where product families should go and the recommendation for acquisitions* Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering required* 2+ years of Product Development experience* Specific experience with sensors is a huge plus* Ability to work in a fast-paced organization with minimal direction* Excellent communication skills – ability to work with various departments including marketing and manufacturingOur client is a rapidly growing brand in the health and wellness space.
