Major transportation company seeks EHS Manager to manage environmental, health, safety & security program requirements & initiatives at the Warrensburg location.Work Location: On-site presence required at the Warrensburg campus with periodical coverage at the Grain Valley location, as required.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Lead site EHS programs & initiatives to meet site goals, compliance requirements & established timeframesLead waste management systemsLead site activities & requirements at the Warrensburg Main Street locationCoordinate specific EHS purchasing requirements and budgetsCreate/coordinate all aspects of the SRA risk evaluation and documentationManage all EHS management systems (permit to work, management of change, AIM, SDS system, compliance calendar, action tracker, EHS connect system.
SRAs, SOPs & others) at the Warrensburg siteLead & manage all aspects of an effective site EHS teamPerform EHS audits and coordinate all EHS audit programs at the siteMaintain site certifications (ISO14001, ISO 45001, VPP Star, etc.)Lead all site EHS training programsLead & support a strong safety culture on the campusMaintain EHS content on site communications boardsEstablish & track functional scorecards and address gaps & continuous improvement opportunitiesDevelop & deploy EHS best practicesDevelop & maintain strong relationships with Alstom employees, peers, and management staffLead site security program and oversee external security staff/activitiesLead site Early Intervention ProgramSupport health & medical staff activities, as neededComplete EHS projects & other duties as assigned.Qualifications/Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in an EHS discipline or equivalent EHS work experience.Minimum of 3 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent experience.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Exceptional organizational skills to meet multiple priorities, simultaneously.Proficient in Microsoft office tools (excel, word, power point).
