Ecommerce Manager

Job description 

Kelly Wearstler is seeking an Ecommerce Manager to join the Digital team. This role is responsible for setting strategy and owning execution of ecommerce growth. This includes overseeing the end-to-end customer experience, including launching new product features and merchandising products. The Manager will be responsible for growing topline and maximizing the conversion funnel. This role is dynamic with a broad set of responsibilities and will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally across Digital Marketing, Creative, Technology, Product and Analytics. 

Responsibilities 

Digital marketing and content 

  • Own the plan for featuring new product and content that support both brand and ecommerce objectives, with a focus on top line growth
  • Lead performance marketing initiatives and end-to-end campaign execution
  • Manage web content and site updates while using analytics to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Leverage product sales trends and website metrics to inform seasonal and monthly merchandising decisions (on the homepage, landing pages, and product pages), as well as product-specific promotions.
  • Provide weekly analytics for e-commerce indicators and customer insights
  • Stay up to date with Marketing Tech, digital marketing trends, and methodologies, conducting testing and funnel conversion optimization to advocate for the most impactful experience

Product management and operations 

  • Oversee and continuously build the eCommerce product roadmap; work with multiple teams (UI/UX, Marketing, Operations) to prioritize and scope new site features and manage rollout from conception to post-launch
  • Develop an understanding of our brand and provide customer experiences that are consistent with our branding, integrating user research, market analysis, and customer feedback
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog
  • Monitor site functionality to identify problematic experiences and continuously improve the online experience by researching and staying up-to-date with new and innovative solutions and capabilities, important competitor actions, industry trends and emerging customer and market needs

Desired skills & experiences 

  • 6+ years in Ecommerce, specializing in either Product or Marketing with experience in both (SalesForce Commerce Cloud experience preferred). 
  • A strong understanding of current technologies and standards and how the digital ecosystem is evolving. 
  • Relentless use of analytics to guide / manage customer acquisition costs, pricing, return on investment, conversion, repeat customers, etc. 
  • Individual that excels in the face of challenges with experience with high level details, task prioritization, identifying challenges and creative solutions. 
  • Experience with the mechanics of PPC advertising, keywords, bidding, and experience, with hands-on work with Google Ads SEM tools. Experience in SEO, PLA, and non-Google platforms a strong plus 
  • Experience with web analytics, A/B testing and email marketing
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft office applications, including intermediate capabilities with Excel (can perform complex functions) and, high level of proficiency with Google Analytics
