Sunray Healthcare Center is a 99
– Bed Nursing facility looking for a Director of Nursing (DON-Interim) to join their team.
The ideal individual must have a min of 1 year experience leading the nursing staff and partnering with the Administrator to ensure the optimal daily care of its residents.
Requirements: valid RN license in good standing; ability to communicate effectively, being a team player by setting the example of always doing the right thing.
Some of the duties include:
* Planning, Directing, and Evaluating the Nursing Department
* Working closely with DSD and scheduler to meet daily PPD
* Providing compassionate care (meds and treatments as needed) to the residents
* Assisting with Admissions
* Completing medical forms, like TARS
* Rounding with doctors
* Reviewing and responding to medical records audits
* Taking part in surveys
* Attending meetings
* Ensuring in-service training is occurring
* Abiding with all facility policies and procedures including not disclosing user ID codes and passwords
* Following Infection and Control policies
