ABOUT THE ROLE DIRECTV Marketing is looking for a dynamic, experienced, and analytical candidate to join us as a Marketing Communications Manager focused on paid digital media execution.
The Performance Marketing team is looking for a digital media expert to play a key role in developing and executing digital marketing strategies that drive site traffic, revenue, and customer acquisition for our consumer products.
This role will focus on marketing DIRECTVs consumer video products, including the development of media plans across display and video (OLV)[programmatic & direct].
KEY RESPONSIBILITES Investment planning and management across digital media (direct or programmatic display and video (programmatic & direct) aimed at driving acquisition efforts and driving product awareness, while at same time optimizing media levers as necessary to drive the most effective CPGA Manage agency, ensuring that campaign vision, strategies and objectives are turned into actionable tasks Coordinate and optimize in lockstep with campaign managers, the agency and production managers to meet trafficking and creative deadlines (ex: ad copy, landing page development, offers etc.) In partnership with stakeholders, identify KPIs and opportunities for performance improvement and supply reports at varying cadences throughout campaign lifecycle, including ad-hoc requests Innovate strategies for using various media effectively to acquire and retain customers, increase brand recognition and elevate customer experience Improve the level of sophistication, accuracy, validity and creativity of digital measurement strategies Monitor and manage multiple campaigns to deliver maximum stakeholder value against predetermined KPIs Conduct Test & Learn analysis and optimize tactics and campaigns to meet or exceed brand/business expectations REQUIREMENTS 2-5 years of digital strategy and digital media planning experience (display, video (OLV), programmatic & direct) Agencyexperience is a must Hands-on-keyboard expertise expert in platform ad campaign setup and management (DV360, TradeDesk, Xandr, etc.) Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business or related field of study PREFERRED Media planning and buying understanding of other key digital tactics (Paid Social, Search, OEM, etc.) Thirst for knowledge/curiosity Builds trust within and across teams Bias for action and excellent problem-solving skills Ability to show calmness and composure in the face of uncertainty Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to navigate large organization to develop strong cross-functional relationships Thrives in fast-paced environment, with ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects with tight deadlines In-depth knowledge of various analytics suites eg, (Xandr, TradeDesk, DV360, etc.) Proven negotiation skills and expertise in managing suppliers and vendors to reach optimum performance Understanding of current and emerging digital platforms and trends Proven track record in managing large digital media budgets and hitting monthly goals for user acquisition and other key performance metrics Deeply analytical and data driven; proficiency with multi-variant, A/B testing, promotional strategy, attribution models Great at rallying partners to do the best work of their career.
Ability to build strong collaborative relationships with a diverse range of partners Ability to multi-task and adapt rapidly to aggressive deadlines and rapidly changing priorities Ability to simply and effectively communicate complex concepts and stories Can-do, positive attitude and a roll-up-your-sleeves approach; personable and flexibleto changing demands of the business Our Manager Marketing Communications earn between $52,600 $105,100 yearly.
