General Role Overview: The Director, Used Vehicle & Remarketing, will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the activities of the Used Vehicle Sales for multiple locations. This role will help in driving the growth and daily operational success of our team across the country. This role will be accountable for achieving the desired targets for volume, quality and time standards, guest satisfaction, profitability, market share and brand identity. The Director, Used Vehicle & Remarketing, will be responsible for the identification, development and implementation of programs, policies and procedures that support total customer satisfaction, company profitability and market share growth. Duties and Responsibilities: Owns responsibility for overall Lease and Rental Department team and results for North America Owns responsibility for overall Lease and Rental Department operations including service department management for preventative maintenance and repair of lease and rental units Oversees vehicle lease management including sales, rental utilization, maximizing profitability, and fleet mix Maintains current inventory, valuation of on the road vehicles, and partnerships with financing captive to maintain anticipated maturity schedule Develop KPIs to manage inventory, prices, and downside risk Partner with Service, Delivery, Logistics, Retail Development, Finance, and other internal departments to analyze location operations and processes to facilitate Remarketing operations Inspect vehicles in accordance with company standards Assesses present and future need, trends, problems, and profit opportunities of the internal service department Ensure that approved policies and objectives are clearly understood and effectively applied within the department Ensuring effective inventory mix and pricing to market Manage vehicles at multiple locations and facilities including corporate, technical centers, distribution centers, and consumer-facing retail locations. Partner with Service Departments to manage reconditioning of used vehicles. Develop and manage high-quality reconditioning standards that minimize comebacks Partner with Service Departments to manage reconditioning of used vehicles Ensure that cosmetic and mechanical reconditioning is performed within the company’s cost and time limitations Drive the business through a high-level of involvement in the day-to-day operations Conduct periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect service operations Work closely with Technology leadership to evaluate systems, ERP’S and data science to create highest productivity work environments Ensure environmental, health and safety regulatory compliance, training, audits, and continuous improvement Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Sales & Marketing is preferred 10 years of used vehicle and remarketing operations experience with increasing responsibility Knowledges, Skills, Abilities, Competencies Demonstrated Automotive Reconditioning and/or Service Leadership Able to be versatile and hit ground running in fast pace, high-velocity growth technology company Proven experience helping organizations scale operationally from start-up to maturity Demonstrated success and thought leadership in operational excellence Proven experience in strategic and organizational development, including the ability to attract, develop and retain world class talent Ability to problem solve, prioritize multiple projects, and adhere to business-critical deadlines Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to develop strategic plans and implement those plans Successful track record of leadership in a cross-matrix structure Extensive used vehicle and remarketing background Proven leadership ability to mentor and train others Expected Salary Range: $101,000. -281,000. a year. Additional compensation: Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker’s equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees. The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations.
