This Director will be part of a team oriented and friendly Tax team!
This Director oversees all aspects of the company’s tax compliance and REIT compliance processes as the second-in-command of an outstanding tax team.
This person will be in charge of mentoring the tax team, while expanding their technical and commercial real estate.
This person will be teaming with the VP, Tax and the CAO.n nThis position offers the opportunity for a highly motivated individual to be an important member of the company’s technical tax team and join a well-established and sophisticated public REIT.
The Director has the function of overseeing all aspects of the Company’s tax compliance and REIT compliance process as the second-in-command of an outstanding tax team.

They also encourage continuing education and reimburse!n n Opportunity Requirementsn 7-9 years of prior experience in partnership and REIT taxation; 4+ years of public accounting firmnexperience required, Big 4 preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or taxation.
CPA (active or inactive) required.
Previous REIT experience strongly preferred.
Superior planning and organizational skills with a strong aptitude for detail.
Executive presence and ability to act as primary contact on assigned projects.
Articulate communicator (both verbal and written) who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Superior analytical skills, strong work ethic, and excellent judgment.
