MediaAlpha’s new Sales Enablement team is responsible for developing and implementing the training program for sales executives and account managers on the Demand Partnership (Sales), Supply Partnership (Business Development), and Agent (SMB) teams.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of developing and delivering both targeted and broad-based training content to the existing team and new hires that measurably improves partner management productivity. 

This is a new role at MediaAlpha that will report to the Senior Vice President, Growth.

It is an individual contributor role that could lead into a management position. 

Responsibilities
Work with sales, business development, and account management leaders to identify training needs for the company’s partner (customer) facing teams based on sales process, strategic plans, and results.

Collaborate with leadership to define the competency models for all partner facing roles.  Define, develop, and deliver onboarding programs that reduce the ramp to productivity for new partner facing team members.

Create standards for ongoing training that includes: knowledge transfer, practice sessions and post-training coaching to ensure full understanding of new skills, knowledge, and process expertise.  Design and deliver proven solution-based and broad-based training workshops, playbooks, and tools for existing teams and new hires in a variety of formats including in-person, virtually, one-on-one and videos to create engaging and effective learning experiences.  Work with marketing, product, and sales operations teams to ensure partner management teams have optimal content and tools to utilize throughout the customer lifecycle.  Enable partner management teams to properly position the value of all MediaAlpha solutions and have a deep understanding of the evolving competitive landscape by working closely with product and marketing teams.  Work with the sales operations and engineering team to customize and implement a new CRM system for large account management and high volume sales.  Work with sales operations to match each team’s sales and account management methodology to the company’s CRM system and implementation.  Develop and report on metrics measuring the efficacy and impact of learning initiatives and use data to make recommendations on ongoing and new training programs.  Conduct analysis and reporting utilizing the CRM system on all partner management teams.  Own and update the internal company knowledge base and external help center.

Qualifications
A leader with the ability to execute with limited direction and structure in highly ambiguous environments, with a strong bias toward action.

Minimum of 10 years total experience in sales enablement, learning & development, product marketing and/or sales operations.

Minimum of 5 years experience in sales enablement.

Understanding of different sales and account management methodologies (SPIN selling, Challenger Sale, etc.).

Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and other sales enablement tools.  Ability to analyze data and provide insights to internal partners regarding gaps and opportunities, and translate to actionable partner management training needs and outcomes.

Understanding of digital marketing, advertising technologies, and/or customer acquisition is strongly preferred.
