The Role
Jellysmack is looking for a great, technically-oriented product marketing director to develop and execute highly effective go-to-market plans for existing and new Jellysmack products and services.
Your role is to drive awareness, excitement and engagement with our products/services through strategic marketing initiatives that foster strong relationships with customers and anticipate trends in our technological environment.
We’re looking for an energetic, motivated self-starter that has a passion for technology, marketing, and social media, and can translate the capabilities of a technology solution into sales messaging and positioning.
This position requires a unique combination of strong technical, marketing and program management skills along with a deep knowledge of and passion for the creator economy.

The ideal candidate will be able to move seamlessly between highly-technical product, engineering and data teams, as well as strategic and creative marketing, design and sales teams to translate complex business ideas into plans that deliver results.
The Responsibilities
As the Director of Product Marketing at Jellysmack you sit strategically between product technology, marketing, sales and customer success to generate awareness of and interest in Jellysmack products and services.
Your key responsibilities include:
* Develop launch plans and sustaining go-to-market strategies for existing and next gen products/services with the aim of driving demand and ensuring customer retention and loyalty.
* Support the Product and Marketing organizations in the creation of product positioning, pricing and product strategy.
* Serve as the voice of the consumer and ensure the delivery of customer-centric products that fill a true user need.
* Craft marketing plans to drive awareness of new products and services including digital media plans, social outreach campaigns, event marketing strategies, emails/newsletters, tradeshows/conferences, sponsorship programs and PR campaigns in partnership with Marketing, Events and PR teams for execution.
* Develop sales tools including sales scripts, email templates, presentations, and demonstration videos or other materials that effectively communicate product benefits.
* Support the sales team with customer case studies, demos, and content tailored to specific personas.
* Study the competition, our customers, and solutions to optimize product-market fit.
* Drive product revenue or other KPIs with a focus on customer product satisfaction, retention, referrals, or other metrics as defined by the initiative.
* Translate and articulate technology messages and concepts into consumer and partner-friendly principles working closely across engineering, product development, data science, marketing, copywriting, design and sales.
* Oversee the product marketing budget and establish investment priorities.
* Ensure internal organizational readiness for each product marketing launch.

Requirements
The Qualifications
* You are highly strategic and passionate about technology, marketing and creator-focused content creation.

Familiarity with video production is beneficial.
* You have contagious enthusiasm for product and marketing, and a commitment to excellence in turning new ideas into business successes.
* You are eager to learn and apply insights from all aspects of the business and are a key stakeholder in the success or failure of new products and services.
* You are highly organized and know how to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
* You are very capable at taking an abstract idea, designing it out, building a plan and delivering on the details of that plan.
* You effectively manage competing priorities to create actionable plans that get the most impactful work done.
* You are a self-starter who rolls up their sleeves and jumps on opportunities when you see them.
* You are data driven with a desire to constantly improve.
* You are someone who looks ahead of the technology curve and anticipates our company’s strategic needs, like pricing and positioning updates.
* You stay up-to-date on the competitive landscape to ensure marketing clearly articulates our key differentiators, as well as identifying new opportunities.
* You exhibit remarkable attention to detail, work efficiently
– and do all of this with humility and a sense of humor.
Technical Experience
* B.A./B.S.

in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in a product marketing role preferably in the high-tech, video production, or social media industries.
* Experience launching new high tech products and communicating their benefits; B2B marketing and product experience is highly valued.
* Demonstrated history of managing complex projects and executing on marketing plans.
* Broad understanding of architecture & technical integrations
* Experience in conducting and applying market analysis, developing market messaging, and communicating product benefits.
* Experience and passion for creating high quality marketing material to drive demand for novel technology that improves client outcomes
* Proven project management skills with strong attention to detail
* Experience collaborating with cross-functional and highly technical partners as well as key decision makers
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
* Willingness and ability to travel; as well as work with global partners in different timezones
