Director, Product – Consumer(Remote)

Our team has successfully launched a new and innovative technology platform, Allē, which serves millions of consumers, tens of thousands of aesthetics providers and thousands of colleagues throughout the US. Since its launch in November 2020, Allē has delivered curated promotions, personalized experiences, and had millions of consumers use it as part of their beauty journey. We’re looking for a Director of Product as we prepare to launch a new array of game-changing technologies on our successfully adopted platform. As the Director of Product, you will drive the vision and execution of the product roadmap. You will help build and lead a team of product managers who will serve on multiple cross-functional Scrum teams. The ideal candidate will comfortably steer tactical process, prioritization and resourcing tasks while being a strategic visionary employing the art of the possible. You will report to the Head of Product and continuously collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to solve the most important technical problems. You Will Deeply understand consumers and their needs in the aesthetics space and build consumer experiences in web and mobile products to cater to those needs through qualitative and quantitative customer feedback, analysis and business need evaluation. Set our product strategy for the consumers in the aesthetics space, define new opportunities, and establish a shared vision across the business in an effort to drive consensus on priority and approach of product features. Own the overall product roadmap for the consumer, delivering visibility for senior stakeholders. Contribute to the cultivation of a culture centered on Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), keeping the team focused on delivering incremental value each sprint while sizing contributions against defined objectives. Lead a talented team of product leaders and product managers while supporting their leadership development and career growth. Build out a talent pipeline of candidates who are enthusiastic about building delightful, functional products. Engage with our Engineering leadership to understand the feasibility of product features and alternative options when necessary. Work with Product Marketing in support of positioning and promoting our product to aesthetic consumers. Inspire a design culture where user research and feedback are interwoven through the product development lifecycle. Care about who you work with and how work is done. Required Experience & Skills 10 years as a Product Manager. 5 years of experience leading teams BS or MS in Computer Science or related field; or comparable experience. You’ve built and scaled product functionality that serves as the foundation for applications. You’ve built D2C, B2C, and B2B2C product solutions. You have experience leading a team of strong-minded individuals and enabling them to reach their potentials by leading, not managing them. You’re adept at building structure, process, and action items out of vague or complex problems. Strong ownership mindset with the ability to think big and move fast when presented with necessary data points. You’ve worked in cross-functional Agile Scrum teams and drive continuity across Engineering, Product Marketing, and business teams. Self-motivated, willing to take ownership, show follow through, solve tough problems and deliver on promised solutions. Excellent communication, presentation, and white-boarding skills. Preference for those who have worked on large scale B2C products with millions of consumers. Preference for those who have worked on a product in support of beauty service providers or savvy, modern healthcare providers.
