We are looking for someone who is able to develop and lead insightful and engaging performance marketing campaigns and lead our team to success.What You Will Do: (Responsibilities)Establish the performance marketing strategy for customer acquisition and retention setting the strategic direction to deliver customer journeys and sales growth objectives via Facebook, Instagram, Search Engine Marketing, YouTube, and Programmatic Display.Lead a team of media buyers across channels and work with multiple stakeholders to achieve our marketing objectives. Inspire and grow a team of channel experts to unlock cross-channel campaign synergies and maximum talent potential.Partner with channel leaders to manage the performance marketing budget ensuring the team is well set up to achieve company OKRs by maintaining a strong focus on continual improvement in LTV/CAC, customer visits growth, customer retention ROAS and ROI, traffic, sales, and ROAS targets. Report to the VP of Marketing. Contribute to the development of the broader marketing strategy, team development initiatives, and fosters company values as a key member of the Performance Leadership Team.Facilitate relationships and support the team in building strong collaboration with key cross-functional business partners to ensure there is good understanding and alignment with Performance Marketings strategy, KPIs, and results.Collaborate closely with CRM and other channel leads to ensure performance marketing activity is tightly aligned with integrated channel activity, particularly across key campaign periods.Oversee key agency and business partner relationships (eg: agencies, Meta, Google, etc) ensuring KPIs and SLAs are met and maximizing the value Masterclass derives from these partnerships.Monitor the marketplace and competitor digital marketing activity benchmarking our performance and keeping the wider business informed of key industry or competitor initiatives and developments.Lead and develop the Performance Marketing team – including organizational development, the management of annual and mid-year review process, talent review, Learning & Development plans, and succession planning.About You: 10+ years of experience in paid social, paid search engine marketing, digital media, and programmatic acquisition.At least 5 years building, overseeing, and developing a diverse team.Deep knowledge, relationships, and hands-on experience with Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, etc) and Google (Search, YouTube, Display) as holistic Platforms.Experience with Demand Side Platforms, including both the media buying and technology layers of the systems and how to maximize both.Experience with extended paid social platforms, including TikTok, Twitter, etc.A bend for technology-driven solutions leveraging data, insights, and engineering to unlock scalable media solutions.Experience managing large budgets and a deep understanding of finance and budgeting.Familiarity with attribution models, expertise in customer segmentation, and the use of test and learn strategies to optimize campaigns.Ability to analyze, interpret data, and use insights to inform marketing campaigns and make recommendations.Ability to balance strategic thinking and analytical rigor to effectively build a media engine that is adaptable to our various messages and business goals. Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills to effectively influence and work with cross-functional teams and media buyers.
