You can translate your technical skills and understanding of the context around you into clear and pragmatic guidance for the organization. *What you’ll do:*Build our tax function to scale for growth including developing processes and workpapers through effective use of technology. Own tax compliance for Fed, State and Local jurisdiction and formalize the company’s tax positions, procedures, calculations, and payments via thoroughly supported documentation.Review ASC 740 tax provision requirements including calculation of effective tax rates, deferred tax items, journal entries and related account reconciliations as well return to close explanation.Perform technical review and research of complex tax return issues.Monitor non-standard transactions and advise the Company for potential tax consequences.Liaise regularly with external tax advisors, auditors and regulators as neededLead the development, feasibility modeling, and implementation of our domestic and future global tax strategy.Serve as the point of contact for all tax-related inquiries and analysis.*Who you are:*Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, MST/CPA preferred.10+ years at Big4 or a combination of Big4 and industry experience.Extensive federal and state corporate tax knowledge, experience with building and scaling tax functions for growth.Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge especially with the ASC 740, ASC 718, and ASC 842 Experience and ability to identify, analyze and interpret relevant tax laws when reviewing non-standard transactions.Experience with Avalara and NetsuiteStrong analytical, project management, written and skills and meticulous attention to detail.*Big on Benefits: *The Perks?
