Position: Director of Student Development
– Full time

The DSD provides excellent support to the campus director, staff, parents and students.

This position requires attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and be a great team player.

We are looking for someone who has a passion to work with students and be a part of the educational experience.

Main Responsibilities:
Greet students, teachers and parents.
Maintain a positive and cheerful atmosphere and attitude.
Answer phones.
Answer general inquiry questions.
Set up consultation or enrollment appointments for the director.
General filing including maintenance of physical and electronic files
Retrieve and deliver accurate messages.
Prepare and mail or email inquiry packets.
Prepare various types of mailings as assigned.
Maintain and input contacts and leads into the Salesforce.com (SFDC) platform.
Qualifying incoming calls through sales techniques
Support campus marketing administrative efforts per direction of director and corporate office.
Obtain, sort and distribute mail (daily).
Handle a broad range of administrative projects and tasks as assigned by director or corporate office staff.
Make and maintain the course folder supply for instructors.
Copy the weekly schedule and distribute to all instructors (last business day of the week).
Straighten up the school and maintain organization of the staff room as needed (daily).
Communicate with other administrative colleagues at the beginning and end of daily shift to ensure a smooth transition.
Call and confirm appointments scheduled with the director for the next day.
Prepare paperwork for any appointments set for the day or prepare for appointments scheduled the next morning.
Verify and record student attendance (daily).
Update transcripts and mail to appropriate school, college or university.
Student accounts:
Monitor and make deposits into account records (daily).

Review aging reports with the district office accounting department and report to the

director.

Prepare billing report for monthly overdue tuition.

Prepare Additional Appointment Notifications (AAN’s) and send out monthly bills.

Send notices for delinquent accounts.

Assist the director and accounting department in handling collections issues.

Adhere to Futures in Education (FIE) policies and procedures.
Represent the program and the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.
Communicate with colleagues and supervisors on a regular basis and participate in internal meetings as scheduled.
Form professional relationships with parents and students.
Actively listen to parents in order to understand their requests.
Key Relationships:
Internal: Head of School, Teachers, Parents/Guardians, Students, Administrative Assistants and Directors of other campuses, and FIE district office staff.

Qualifications:
Proficient in MS Office Suite: PowerPoint, Word, and Excel (required).
Inside sales or sales support experience (preferred)
Proficiency with Salesforce.com or similar customer relationship management (CRM) software and applications.
Tech-savvy with ability to adapt and learn new technology tools, systems and software.
Positive attitude and collaborative, teamwork mentality.
The Director of Student Development position will report to the Head of School.
