Director of Strategic Giving

The Director of Strategic Giving is responsible for management and expansion of the major gifts and planned giving programs; managing relationships and securing support from donors who are capable of making gifts of $25,000+ focusing on strategic multi-year principal gifts of $100,000 or more.

Will manage a personal portfolio of 35-50 prospects and a team of two major gifts officers.

Will play a key leadership role in the execution of the organization’s comprehensive campaign..

Bachelors degree preferred.

Minimum 5-7 years of management experience in development and major gifts.

Experience working with high-level donors, campaigns, planned giving and major gift solicitation.

Knowledge of Japanese American history and culture a plus.

Proficiency with MS Office, Google Calendar and Gmail preferred.

Development database experience (Raisers Edge, Altru) desired..
