Director of Strategic Accounts

First Step Staffing has an immediate opening for a Director of Strategic accounts in the Los Angeles, CA area.

First Step Staffing is the largest non-profit light-industrial staffing agency in the United States. Founded in 2007 in Atlanta, GA, First Step Staffing currently employs over 3000 employees per week. First Step Staffing is on a mission to provide a path out of homelessness through work experience. First Step is a financially independent and self-sufficient social enterprise.

We are looking for a results-driven Director of Strategic Accounts to ensure that sales and operational goals are met and office tasks are completed successfully and in a timely manner. The Director of Strategic accounts is also responsible for monitoring sales , creating sales reports, training, recruiting, managing operational and sales staff and servicing existing accounts.

The position reports to the VP/GM of LA with a dotted line to the COO of First Step Staffing and will work out of the Los Angeles offices.

Responsibilities:

· Help develop strategic vision and operational plan for driving more revenue and additional jobs

· Develop, implement and execute short-term and long-term sales and operational objectives

· Recruit, train and manage high performance teams

· Establish and assure safe working environment at all locations resulting in lower W/C claims

· Understand, streamline and optimize current processes

· Accurately forecast revenue and gross margin projections

· Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales gross margin and mission related goals

· Work closely with other cross function teams as needed

· Interact with new and existing customers

· Establish metrics and measurements

Mission:

Must understand and be able to present First Steps mission of serving individuals with barriers to employment. Including people that have experienced homelessness, incarceration and our veteran population. Having a balance of mission and business is critical to this role.

Qualifications:

· 8+ years in a leadership role (Light Industrial Staffing is a plus)

· Consistently demonstrate high performance selling and operational management of top performing teams

· Consistently achieved aggressive sales, gross margin and overall company goals

· Proven ability to recruit, train, manage and retain top talent

· Knowledge and experience both inside and outside sales

· Strategic thinking and the ability to execute at a high level

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· Excel at multi-tasking and handling fast-pace, growing environment

· Extremely adaptable and flexible

· Willingness to roll up sleeves and do what it takes to get the job done

· The ability to work with a sense of urgency

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree Required (Business or Marketing degree preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 – $105,000.00 per year
