We are looking for a highly motivated and proven Director of Sales and Marketing to be a part of the re-imagining of this incredible property as it completes major renovation and emerges as a 300+ room hotel with meeting space.
This is a tremendous opportunity for an organized and eager sales leader who understands how to build relationships and cultivate exciting partnerships.
This is a highly visible position within our Hotel and within Gemstone Hotels & Resorts.
In this role you will be responsible for delivering incredible guest service with prospective clients and guests in all that you do.
From selling guest rooms, meeting space and other Mayfair services to group customers and transient market customers through corporate accounts, travel agencies, individual travel and wholesale to initiating new sales, prospects, qualifying leads and analyzing lost business, a passion for success is critical.
Working alongside other leaders within the hotel such as the General Manager, Revenue Manager and Front Office Manager, you will develop sales plans and initiatives to reach target revenue and room night goals, develop annual Sales Budget and quarterly forecasting.

We understand that knowledge, skills, and abilities can be learned in a variety of ways.
At a minimum you should have five (5) years sales experience and two (2) years in an upscale hotel including refined verbal and written communication skills and a desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
Additional, preferred skills include Delphi or Sales Pro experience, selling negotiating, business writing and presentation skills training.
