Director of Sales

is looking for an energetic, organized and customer-focused Director of Sales to join their fun, hardworking team of results-driven, creative, and collaborative people based in California!

Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Sales will be responsible for delivering agreed revenue targets, managing sales activities, owning key account relationships, and providing leadership and direction to members of the sales team, and other special projects, as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with the CEO/VP to develop annual revenue budget, an annual sales strategy, and take accountability for delivering the approved reseller revenue budget

Plan and deliver new opportunities to achieve the annual distribution strategy developed in collaboration with the executive team

Develop, maintain, track and adjust the annual program of opportunities to achieve the annual sales budget

Ensure all sales opportunities are in line with the company’s growth strategies and profit expectations

Manage and forecast the sales pipeline and monitor progress against key performance indicators and budget.

Develop superb customer relationships; identify new sales opportunities and communicate reseller/customer needs to the team; maintain relationships using effective communication between all parties (customers, resellers and the CSC team)

Accountable for all Reseller / customer Set Up activities; including sales agreements, vendor system set up, acquiring and sharing all vendor requirements and information with other departments and own all item setup in systems.

Deliver best in class communication to the cross-functional team, including the team on customer meetings as needed, and timely sharing of information and feedback on product and business awards

Actively work with Product team to deliver assortments that meet customer needs

Responsible for all sales reporting; revenue reporting, revenue forecasting, and sell through reporting; share insights on product performance, customers and the market; keep up to date with category trends and effectively share updates with the CSC team

Work with the Marketing team to ensure alignment of reseller/ customer sales plan requirements and marketing activities

Support and assist in the implementation of all company financial processes and policies including credit checks, invoicing and payment terms.

Make recommendations to CSC for more effective ways of working, including better methods, systems and procedures.

Contribute to building a positive team spirit and motivate employees to perform at a high level; manage, support and cultivate the development, experience and growth of the sales team

Support additional projects as assigned by the CEO/VP

Provides solutions to complex business problems where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
Here’s what you need:

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of managerial work experience in Sales Strategy, Sales Programs, or Sales Operations

Bachelor’s Degree

Ability to draw actionable insights from data sets in their most common forms (Excel, Business Objects, etc.)

Experience in shaping, negotiating and closing large complex multi tower deals within IT Services Clients

Experience running tactical or strategic sales training
Preferred Qualifications
Extensive customer network

Strong verbal and written communications skills

Overachievement in a quota-carrying enterprise sales role

Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision-making abilities

Ability to interface and negotiate with senior executives

Experience with a cloud solution such as AWS, Azure and/or an Google Cloud

A huge plus if you have experience in working in cybersecurity
– Web Application Firewall capabilities, configuration, and deployment

Pay: $100,000.00
– $200,000.00 per year
