Director of Product Marketing and Innovation

The Director of Product Marketing & Innovation is responsible for driving company’s long-term product innovation strategy and product launches aligned with brand, finance, legal, operations and retails sales.

Partner with key stakeholders to gain consumer insights and collaborate with PR, Digital Marketing and Brand to develop successful launch plans.

Essential Functions
Lead innovative product development and pipeline strategy by leveraging insights and analytics in support of brand’s global strategy, brand priorities and growth objectives; Ensure robust pipeline for DTC and retail Determine white space opportunities and develop innovation based on findings from consumer insights and analytics; design roadmap to enable future of new product launches Oversee and manage the new product launch process, keeping it to agreed timing plan, and work collaboratively with all teams to ensure alignment and consistency of message across all consumer touch points and best in class launch execution Responsible for articulating product positioning, developing concept and launch tools leveraging innovation and creativity for each launch of the calendar year Ensure strong product differentiation exploring new product forms, new and remarkable packaging ideas delivered with exemplary execution Develop strategic new customer acquisition strategies (i.e.

samples, trial and sets) Lead and develop product positioning, benefit and naming convention

Requirements
5-10 years’ relevant Beauty experience preferably within Prestige Beauty and or Wellness Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field; MBA preferred Innovation ideation and product development experience Forward-thinking with a disruptor mindset Passionate about the Beauty and Wellness industry and trend savvy Capable of overseeing end-to-end product launch process Strategic thinking capabilities with demonstrated success in delivering innovative products and marketing plans Insights and analytics driven with a consumer-first mindset Strong business acumen and financial fluency Exceptional leadership capabilities possessing passion and skill in developing high-performing and engaged teams Deep understanding of Ecommerce, A/B testing and DTC methodologies a plus
