Director of Partner Alliances – Remote

The Director of Partner Alliances will be responsible for the management and execution of CIS Partnerships including supporting alliances and partnership strategy.

You will own our partner relationships and be our “voice of the partner” for internal CIS teams, helping develop our alliances and programs with CIS partners.

What Youll Do

  • Responsible for leading the development and operationalization of the Partner strategies and frameworks
  • Liaise with the appropriate teams to develop a robust, end-to-end Alliances and Partnerships program, and serve as our expert on Partner needs and growth
  • Develop and maintain roadmap of Partnership initiatives and enhancements, which benefit, grow and expand Partner relationships as well as support and contribute to CIS’s overall mission
  • Explore opportunities for CIS’s alliance partners to contribute their services and abilities to complement CIS’s services and mission for higher impact in serving the underserved
  • Develop best practices and processes for Partnership and Alliance management, including KPIs
  • Create training materials and communications for both partners and members
  • Manage internal tools for accurate reporting, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Collaboratively manage priorities among a diverse group of internal and external partners
  • Represent CIS and its mission at industry events, in presentations and meetings with partners

What Youll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technology or related field*
  • 8+ years in business development, channel operations, partnerships or alliances related to the duties above
  • 3+ years’ experience working with Cloud providers (AWS, Microsoft, or Google)
  • Proven track record improving and developing channels and partnerships
  • Ability to assess and determine high-impact initiatives and champion CIS within designated partner organizations
  • Demonstrated experience building new partner relationships and go-to-market strategies
  • Proven ability in building and maintaining successful relationships with internal stakeholders and prospective and existing customers and channel partners
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to communicate advanced technical concepts
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work with recent technological applications relating to daily tasks
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination may be required
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Its a Plus if You have:

Cybersecurity, cloud security or related industry experience

*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
