Job Description We are seeking a Director Of Nursing to join our team You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients. This position requires a high level of expertise in pediatrics, wound care and home health. The Director of Nursing is responsible for the daily nursing operations and must be able to develop and organize nursing procedures, maintain medical supplies and monitor assigned patients’ progress. The Director will also make regular visits to patients’ homes and work closely with their families, as well as have regular meetings with the physician to discuss each patient’s diagnosis and wellbeing. Responsibilities: Care type, Patients (Pediatrics/Adults) that are dependent on Tracheostomy and Ventilator. Evaluating and Directing all nursing employees, establishing goals for the nursing department and creating and enforcing compliant healthcare policies Help families understand the care their child is receiving and coordinate with other medical professionals. Perform general nursing duties including wound care, medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and other routine nursing tasks. Ensure all employees meet their licensure and certification requirements. Review staff education and certifications to ensure employees are trained to care for children in a safe manner. Train, coach, and guide all employees on how to perform as a nurse in a pediatric setting. Ensure that each child’s management plan is followed. Qualifications: Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields Familiarity with medical software and equipment Ability to build rapport with patients Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
