As Director of Marketing for our New Business team, you will lead our marketing efforts to drive usage of our affiliated businesses and strategic partners across the country.
Simply put, we have ambitious revenue goals for our affiliated businesses and strategic partnerships, and we’re looking for a marketing leader who can help us earn the business of our agents and their clients by showing the power of having them all in one place.
As the Director of Marketing, New Business, you are a talented marketing professional with deep subject matter expertise, who is passionate about the intersection of technology and real estate.
In this role, you will create processes to drive to operational excellence both centrally and regionally and be accountable for setting the vision for the long-term operating model.
Partnering closely with the New Business Attach Team, Regional Marketing Leaders and leadership of our affiliated businesses and strategic partnerships, you will lead a team to build programs at scale, optimize awareness of our emerging business units, and drive awareness and excitement among our agents and their clients.
At Compass You Will:
- Serve as the central Marketing and Design leader for the New Business team, working in partnership with the New Business leaders and business unit CEOs as key stakeholders in the planning of our future state service model
- Develop a robust and scalable infrastructure that will allow us to expand Marketing and Design services to support revenue generation and earned business among our Compass agent base
- Build and implement strategies with field marketing leaders to achieve regional attach goals for adjacent services
- Develop tools, programs, and processes to drive New Business Marketing KPIs, including speed and quality of service
- Measure and report against KPIs to establish priorities, drive results, and determine mechanisms to improve results
- Partner with the Strategy & Planning function on the creation, development, and execution of key future state strategies including: segmented agent services, design capacity planning, and offshore support
- Ensure day-to-day, high priority issues are identified and resolved thoroughly, with a strong customer-service mindset
- Manage a team of dynamic marketing professionals who are interfacing directly with our adjacent service providers to drive business goals.
What We’re Looking For:
- 8+ years of experience in marketing, operations, and/or business development
- Experience in business operations or management consulting a plus
- Agile and organized working style to manage and consistently prioritize key initiatives and multiple projects with varying stakeholders
- Strong manager and people leader, having led teams comprised of 5+
- Experience in strategic planning and process improvement
- Data-driven decision maker who is evidence based in their approach
- Solutions-oriented mindset: creative, positive problem solver who focuses on serving their teams and regions generously
- Ability to “see around corners,” diagnosing and treating issues before they worsen
- Excellent communicator with a natural ability to connect with others
- Ability to empower and inspire the collective team
