Job Details

Develop and lead strategy roadmap to support the Governance, Access management, Risk, and Compliance function and Cybersecurity programs
Responsible for identifying, evaluating reporting on, and mitigating information security risks in a manner that meets internal, compliance and regulatory requirements, and responding to incidents that may occur.
Evaluate and test Information Security controls and leads the development, enforcement, and maintenance of policies, procedures, measures, and mechanisms to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information.
Identify and balance security initiatives to risks.
Help develop and prioritize security initiatives and options.
Will partner with constituents throughout the company to achieve strategic goals and ensure the appropriate balance is achieved between risk and controls.
Possess strong influencing skills to educate and shift the security tolerances of the company, executives, employees, vendors and partners. He/she will also possess strong communications skills to support the sales and support efforts of the company.
Oversee and coordinate security efforts across the company, including information technology, cloud operations, product engineering, processional services, human resources, legal, facilities management and other groups.
Oversee safeguarding of intellectual property, customer information, financial transactions and computer systems.
Build and lead the Cybersecurity team to ensure budgets are aligned and the cybersecurity portfolio stays on track
Keep cybersecurity and compliance policies and procedures up to date, providing governance to ensure teams are educated in them and audit to ensure they are being followed – reporting back to leadership on noncompliance.
Assurance over compliance of standards and regulations HBH needs to follow. Examples are – SOX, PCI, GDPR, CCPA, privacy laws, etc.
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in computer science, accounting or related field or related work experience in cybersecurity, Technology Risk Management and/or Auditing
Minimum 10 years’ experience as an information security professional.
Understanding of endpoint, public cloud, server, application/database technologies
Experience with Active Directory and/or other LDAP directory services
Solid understanding in application security, cloud security, security operations, incident response and infrastructure security
Knowledge of networking and security technologies such as, IPSEC, VPN, routers, switches, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, data leakage, WAF, DNS and TCP/IP networking.
Advanced knowledge and direct experience with technology frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, etc.
Expertise in Risk Assessment, Management, and Tracking experience assessing and building out Security programs
This will require a high degree of interpersonal and influencing skills and an ability to work cross-culturally to improve collaboration within IT at the global level.
This should be an individual with a sense of both independence and urgency. He/She should have a solid background of autonomy and seeing initiatives through from beginning to end, with business impact and ROI defined. Our culture is fast-paced and dynamic. Someone who is looking for a lean, swift moving environment will be a good match. Additionally, someone looking for an army of support and a great deal of hand holding will not likely be the best fit.
This person will need to bring a track record of hands-on, ‘ doing’ – being personally responsible for the strategy, execution and success of systems that have been national in nature and have impacted the bottom-line efficiency and success of an organization.
