Director of Investor Relations

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Director of Investor Relations is responsible for ensuring the company is appropriately and strategically positioned with analysts, investors, and all stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

This position will collaborate with senior management in the development and execution of a compelling IR strategy.

The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to carefully manage relationships outside the company in the equity research and investor community.

The Director of Investor Relations will lead, in collaboration with senior management, the development of the overall IR strategy for the company; assist with quarterly earnings release process, help define key themes that need to be conveyed to the investment community.

The Director of Investor Relations will provide support to prepare key materials (script, press release, 10Q/K, letter to shareholder ), and will support the executive team to prepare for earnings calls.

The Director of Investor Relations will attend conferences and roadshows and will help with coordination of events with analysts and investors.

This role will prepare materials needed such as presentations or press releases, and will perform peers analysis to assess companys performance vs.

competitor and will proactively analyze and present to senior management information regarding financial and capital market activity and trends, competitor behavior, industry and customer trends, shareholder concerns, etc.

which could impact business and shareholder value.

The role will monitor and analyze existing shareholder base and identify potential new shareholders, and will manage the content and design of the investor relations website at Guess.com.

EDUCATION: 

Bachelors Degree
