Sr. Director of Housing

National Health Foundation (NHF) is looking for a seasoned and experienced Sr. Director of Housing to lead and continue to develop all Recuperative Care housing programs. Our new Sr. Director of Housing will be responsible of executing and overseeing our multi-million dollar LAHSA and DHS contracts. They will oversee all Housing staff (approx. 100 team members) through 5 direct reports. Beyond ensuring the smooth operation of Recuperative Care and Housing programs at five (5) locations, the Sr. Director of Housing will help raise awareness of NHF’ successful outcomes and expertise in our domains. This new role is for an individual who aspires to build strong relationships with external stakeholders, including funding agencies and partner organizations in the field.
How will you contribute as our new Sr. Director?
- Oversee our Multi-Million dollar programmatic and contractual LAHSA and DHS contracts, ensuring compliance with all contractual requirements and minimum. The Sr. Director will guide and lead all of our Recuperative Care programs in their overall programmatic outcomes, fiscal and operational success.
- Oversee current grant contracts and ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting. Our Sr. Director will also seek out new government and private sector contracts that will continue to expand and enhance current programs and reimbursements.
- Lead a team of highly motivated and skilled professionals by providing the team with vision, guidance, and high-level context for a strategic direction and acting as a role model for excellence.
- You will build and sustain a culture that is representative of our mission and vision and is understood, accepted and adopted by all of our team members in our facility, both directly and indirectly.
- Administer Quality Assurance supervision for our 5 Southern California Sites across 2 counties (2 in Ventura County, 3 in LA County) , developing program improvement strategies to ensure program patient (Guests) satisfaction; ensure programs are being appropriately evaluated. The Sr. Director will be traveling to all sites as needed to provide guidance and leadership as needed.
- Develop business and non-profit community partnerships that will enhance and expand programs, increasing our impact in the community. Our Sr. Director will also work cross-functionally with other NHF departments in integrating and aligning programmatic goals, strategies and outcomes.
What will you bring to National Health Foundation?
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressively responsible managerial and program management experience in the Los Angeles homeless field.??
- Bachelor’s degree required; Masters degree strongly preferred. Bachelors degree with 10+ years of above described experience will be considered??
- Experience overseeing multi-million dollar programmatic and contractual LAHSA and DHS contracts and ensuring compliance? required.
- A valid Ca Drivers License with appropriate insurance required.
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
- Be an effective communicator and extremely personable that will allow our team members and guests maintain successful and meaningful partnerships.
- A successful track record to meet challenging deadlines. You prioritization and organization skills would be highly effective
