Description Abbyson is looking for a dynamic individual to join as the eCommerce Leader to lead our growing Business Development Team The EL will develop, maximize and lead Abbyson’s ecommerce brand strategies to the next level. The EL shall lead the development of eCommerce business, managing Account Managers, Supply Chain integration, and drive sales strategies to exceed monthly Sales Goals and enhance all consumer touch points. Partnering with Finance and Operations to improve margins without compromising our consumers’ experience. The ED further identifies digital marketing strategies and develops brand awareness to exceed the eCommerce Departmental goals. As eCommerce Director, you shall create and develop Abbyson’s ecommerce online strategy to enhance shopper experience and drive our business forward. Reporting Structure The eCommerce Leader will work cross-functionally with Supply Chain Operations, and directly with Sales Operations & Account Management, under the guidance of Executive Leadership. As eCommerce Director, you will provide leadership and vision to both drive the business forward and provide an exceptional brand experience to our consumers. Core Responsibilities • Strategic Ecommerce Planning and Execution • Sales Growth, both organically and through new channels • Implement Content Strategy and Development • Innovation in Technology and Promote User Experience • Competitive Trend Analysis • Cross-Functional Communication and Collaboration • Positive Leadership and Team Member Development • Ensures data integrity and accuracy; develop and maintain key inventory reports • Product Life Cycle management; leverage pricing and promotional strategies to align sales plan to Department Goals • Manage inventory flow for eCommerce, DTC and marketplace sales channels to maximize profit • Serve as primary analytics support for eCommerce Operations • Provide reports and insights to SVP of Sales to make actionable recommendations based on sales, forecasts, conversion, promotions, seasonality, marketing channel performance and other web analytics data Essential Functions • Strategically analyzes and applies digital consumer data to initiate ecommerce growth opportunities. • Implements digital marketing tactics to support ecommerce channel sales and margin goals. • Track, forecast and translate reports to measure ROI. • Drive ecommerce channel goals by developing and updating brand strategic plans for websites (Brand priorities, industry trends, and customer insight). • Establish KPIs and metrics to track and report on performance of processes and transform data into actionable insights and recommendations. • Develop monthly ecommerce forecast and budget, including traffic, sales, conversion and AOV. Provides weekly reporting and insight into ecommerce performance. • Partner with leadership in Customer Experience and Sales Operations to drive performance and customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle. • Manage ecommerce revenue and P&L objectives by improving conversion rates and increasing the number of online purchases. • Directs and tracks digital ad buys for .com partners and oversees related agencies for search, SEO, display, affiliate and social to support brand awareness, offline channels and ecommerce. • Manage and drive improvements to ecommerce P&L, including revenue, margin and expense improvement. • Manage and communicate cross channel marketing and promotional plans and work closely with Executive Leadership to execute strategies in all .com platforms.
