Marlborough School seeks an innovative, experienced, creative, and engaged Director of Communications to lead institution-wide communications efforts and initiatives.

This full-time position reports directly to the Head of School, is a member of the Senior Leadership Team, and works closely with the admissions and advancement teams.

The Director of Communications supervises a full-time Associate Director of Communications and a part-time graphic designer while also managing all relevant vendor relationships.

As the key administrative leader responsible for school communications across all constituents, the ideal candidate is an experienced brand ambassador who can advise on and add value to the marketing communications efforts of all departments.

The director must be a skilled and strategic writer who can initiate and guide communications—from conception to distribution—from the Head of School, Board of Trustees, and leadership team, among others, adapting voice and vision accordingly.

Experience with print, website, social media, and digital content strategy and management is also required.
