This will involve developing and adhering to policies and procedures related to proper Chargemaster structure to assure smooth operating flows and compliance with relevant billing and pricing transparency regulations. You will:Mentor and manage a team, utilizing consultants and resources as needed Identify charge related opportunities Evaluate and audit current procedures and internal charge controls Define responsibilities between various stakeholders to ensure complete, compliant and accurate charge capture Collaborate with hospital operational directors, ISS personnel, PBS & finance directors, managers, and staff, and the Office of Compliance ServicesQualifications We’re seeking a self-motivated, collaborative leader with:Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or related field 8- 10 years of healthcare and/or consulting experience Advanced knowledge of hospital revenue cycle In-depth understanding of EPIC Charge Description Master Knowledge of government billing compliance (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid), specifically the assignment of revenue, CPT4 and HCPCS codes Expertise with Microsoft Office Knowledge of EPIC Resolute Hospital Billing preferredUCLA Health is a world-renowned health system with four award-winning hospitals and dozens of primary care practices, specialty practices, urgent care centers and other ancillary locations throughout metro Los Angeles as well as the David Geffen School of Medicine.
