This digital platform will evolve the shopping experience for beauty consumers and as the Brand Partnership Director, you will be pioneering brands to be at the forefront of creating a fun, interactive shopping experience. The Brand Partnership Director will accelerate the growth of this next-gen mobile app by expanding the product offerings for this multi-branded platform across Mass, Prestige, and Luxury. The Brand Partnership role will leverage existing beauty brand relationships, presenting a new

channel for product distribution on a multi-branded mobile app, offering a larger and more diverse audience to expand their brand demographic and leverage real consumer reviews to increase product sales.

 

  • Leverage existing beauty relationships and networks to onboard 15-20 beauty brands per month by securing a purchase order by making calls daily, conducting meetings, following up with decision-makers and driving the communication converting leads into active partnerships
  • Present the opportunity to partner with this multi-branded beauty platform by detailing the business model, vision, and long-term partnership. Highlighting the shoppable app experience, a custom dashboard to analyze data and brand awareness strategy to be featured on a multi-branded site for a wider consumer base
  • Directly negotiate the terms and administer the contract with the beauty brand directly and drive the follow-up process with the decision-makers to convert into a partnership-based deal
  • Leverage the Executive team’s expertise to partner in meetings and work through any specific brand requests to create successful partnerships for all parties involved
  • Manage the pipeline with documentation of all outreaches of brands and partner with the Chief Merchant on reviewing monthly results, feedback, and/or challenges to continue to evolve the role and tools for success to meet performance goals
  • Work closely with internal teams to support the brand launches, live streams, and other activities to maintain a strong partnership with brands
  • Collaborate with the team to evolve the outreach strategy, share best practices, and create consistency across the Brand Partnership team for success

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 7+ years of experience building and managing beauty brand partnerships as a beauty buyer/merchant/related role
  • Demonstrated track record of lead generation and conversion
  • Exceptional sales and communication skills with the ability to excite potential brand partners on pioneering this shoppable app on a multi-branded platform and demonstrate a positive impact on their business
  • Strong organizational capabilities to track all activities managing constant follow-ups and spearheading brand communications; detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively 
  • Thrives in a startup and hypergrowth environment
  • Team player with the flexibility to adapt to a growing business model
