Director Of Analytics

The Director of Analytics leads the delivery of analytics services and data-driven strategic, cross-channel marketing guidance to internal teams on behalf of our clientele.

The position will be client-facing, and largely involves partnering with the other departments to define cross-channel measurement plans, measure successes, and provide recommendations to enhance performance marketing for our clientele.

The perfect candidate will have experience building and managing world-class analytics teams, will have worked in digital marketing with an emphasis in cross-channel, and will have a track record of driving data-informed decisions.

Establish best practices to build/maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor the performance of advertising campaigns for clients.

Drive the growth of department analytic capabilities.

Provide thought leadership on third-party measurement tools, machine learning models, and industry vertical expertise as it pertains to driving forward the digital consumer lifecycle.

Apply your expertise in EDA, quantitative analysis, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand how our digital advertising initiatives impact a client’s business objectives.

Develop an overall approach to data and measurement strategy for clients, inclusive of construction and maintenance of measurement frameworks, benchmarks & KPIs, and test & measurement solutions for Code3 clients to help prove the value of cross-channel media.

Work closely with internal stakeholders and external clients

Support new business pitches and/or RFPs where needed.

Establish an overall approach to data and measurement strategy for customers, inclusive of construction and maintenance of measurement frameworks, benchmarks & KPIs, and test & measurement solutions for Code3 clients to help prove cross-channel value.

Create and implement learning agendas for driving value realization to help customers understand what will be uncovered throughout certain stages of cross-channel initiatives and what we recommend implementing in order to support and optimize.

Provide input into strategic plans that take into consideration how channels will fit into the broader marketing mix for a client so that it complements and supercharges value realization of a channel, as well as their overarching marketing goals.

Experience developing and leading analytical teams to create and deliver robust analytical deliverables.

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant experience in the areas of analytics, data science, and business intelligence in a digital marketing/advertising environment.

5+ years of experience doing quantitative analysis at an agency, in-house marketing team, technology company, or consulting, or product management.

3+ years of experience in managing other team members in a productive manner with a focus on growth and development.

5+ years of fluency with common ROI, ROMI, attribution, and cross channel measurement approaches.

5+ years of fluent experience with using front-end analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.

5+ years of fluent experience with using third-party measurement solutions: Marketing Mix, Multi-Touch Attribution, Clustering, Regression, Cross-Channel Reach/Frequency Measurement Platforms.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to explain technical analyses to a non-technical audience.

Experience initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance.

Knowledge of data/analytical tools – Strong experience with Python, SQL, relational databases; experience using data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau or others.

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, or related quantitative field.
