The Director of National Accounts is accountable for developing and executing a strategy with our Payer, Contracting, Marketing, and BPS teams to focus on key accounts posing a competitive threat.
nn nnThe DNA is also the lead for Allergan field-based teams in strategy development and tactical execution for all key accounts assigned to their respective geographic areas.
The Director of National Accounts is accountable for developing and executing strategy and tactics with our Marketing, Reimbursement, Training and Field Leadership teams to focus on increasing interactions at all levels of the account (C – Suite, Injectors, Office Managers, and Pharmacy).

Leads competitive threat response team for the region.
Visit major threat accounts to assess risk significance.
Coordinates response to all requests for price and toxin formulary reviews.
Manages the execution of all buying programs within assigned region.
Completes a monthly threat assessment update for management.
Provides market intelligence to US and Global Marketing on competitive strategies and tactics.
Presents all approved contracts to customers and monitors for adherence.
Interfaces with legal department on reimportation issues.
Interfaces with US marketing departments for strategic alignment.nn nn2.
Lead relevant teams in strategy development and tactical execution with academic customers.
Key accounts include IDNs, Academic Medical Centers, and Headache Centers in geography.
Focus is on gaining breadth and depth in each account, accessing key decision makers and the C Suite to manage BOTOX opportunities within the system.
Develops and maintains a customer focus that includes effective working relationships with the clinical account specialists, sales leadership, marketing and reimbursement business advisors (RBAs).
Works in conjunction with key KOL customers in conjunction to improve technical capabilities and system processes associated with BOTOX.nn nnThis position reports to the Executive Director, National Accounts – U.S.

• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience; with emphasis in management, sales or marketing preferred n
• Neurology and Physiatry physician specialty experience required n
• At least ten years successful sales experience, preferably for “buy and bill” injectable product(s) in a private practice and/or hospital outpatient setting, with a proven track record of successful sales performance n
• Acute understanding of academic health systems including roles and responsibilities of residents, fellows, chief residents, attending physicians, program directors, medical directors, department heads, administrators and relevant pharmacy personneln
• Thorough comprehension of a physician’s training process from MCAT to unsupervised practicen
• Comprehensive understanding of all Allergan/AbbVie resources relevant and useful to academic health system personnel.n
• People Leadership is preferred n
• Account / Reimbursement experience is preferred. n

• Possess a comprehensive knowledge of the health system customer n
