Job Description

The Director, Human Resource Business Partner provides overall strategic business partner leadership to the company and aligns with leaders in our Facility Engineering business to drive the talent agenda and build leadership strength in the team.

As a member of the leadership team, the Director partners with assigned client groups to establish and implement strategic objectives, short and long-term goals, and HR strategies.

The HR function is transforming how it conducts business with the operations partners.

This transformation is significant and for the right person may be an opportunity that only comes along once in their career.

Essential Functions

  • Proactive HR leadership and client partnership
  • Serves as internal coach/consultant to business leaders.
  • Partners with peers across the HR COE’s to facilitate alignment
  • Promotes a positive environment and culture consistent with the core values and goals of the company.
  • Partners to proactively drive and influence programs, policies, and practices designed to enhance employee engagement, reduce turnover, and ensure legal compliance.
  • Drives the talent agenda for the corporate functions.

    Facilitates the development of succession planning, influences career development programs, development need assessments, and other innovative development programs.

  • Maintains current knowledge and understanding of industry trends, current practices, new developments, and applicable laws regarding human resources.

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a senior HR role as a strategic partner to the business driving the talent agenda.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced work environment balancing multiple projects and embracing change.
  • Broadly experienced comfortable partnering with a Center of Excellence approach to the delivery of HR services
  • Strategic thinker, with an ability to contribute at both a strategic and operational level.
  • Excellent communication, conflict-resolution, problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership, managerial and organizational skills.
  • Unquestionable ethical standards and integrity required.
  • Strong business acumen.

Qualifications – Other Skills, Abilities & Knowledge

  • SPHR or PHR Certification a plus
