My client is expanding and seeks a Director to take on the following tasks: Provide strategic direction and operations management of lab services team Implement standard processes and experimental procedures to ensure the generation of high-quality data and stellar customer satisfaction Collaborate with clients and demonstrate capabilities, project status, and project results Engage and influence team members across multidisciplinary teams while prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines Train laboratory staff on procedures, good laboratory practice, and technical methods Lead staff to assure that projects are completed, roles and schedules are implemented Ensure the inventory of reagents and consumables are available to meet the needs of the team Contribute to the management of the operational budget Serve as lab operations representative in capital project design and delivery teams The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities: PhD and 6 years of experience that includes directing labs, managing projects, and serving clients Proven track record of effectively managing lab and instrumentation operations Familiarity with diverse types of laboratory methods including molecular biology, cell biology, single cell RNA-Seq, and bioanalytical characterization studies Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and drive to results with a high emphasis on data quality and integrity Deep knowledge of GLP, compliance, quality, and data security requirements for studies analyzing patient samples Demonstrated highly effective communication and organizational skills
