Overview and Responsibilities The Director, Digital Customer Marketing is responsible for leading the development and execution of consumer facing marketing efforts with Domestic digital accounts. Working cross-functionally, this executive will be important to the Paramount Home Entertainment team and will lead executions of a vast portfolio of film and TV product to increase awareness, distribution, and net revenue across digital transactional platforms and beyond. The Director will be the “face” of the transactional digital business in engaging key Paramount Global partners, including Theatrical and Paramount. This role will be responsible for analyzing return on investment of media buys and measuring value of merchandising. Additionally, the Director will spearhead ideation, planning and execution of innovative marketing and other programs targeting both traditional digital retailers and non-traditional businesses, aimed at generating incremental net revenue. Join us Develop, drive, and implement Customer Marketing strategy and plans for designated accounts that will be performed with a global reach Identify Paramount and Account priorities to develop creative, industry leading initiatives Create account specific marketing plans that will follow the lifecycle of a release from Theatrical release to ongoing catalog opportunities Develop strategies to leverage retailer platforms and media co-op to uncover opportunities around process, measure and track value of merchandising, and create standard processes for accounts Leverage customer functionality and new capabilities to continually identify, test and implement revenue driving programs Establish and continually assess account specific media programs / tactics on an annual basis tied to New Release, TV, and Catalog titles Partner with Paramount Global streaming services to implement mutually beneficial programs that will drive transactional business and subscribers per business objectives Continue efforts to simplify the consumer movie viewing experience by aligning with key partners on messaging, creative and promotions on platforms where transactional and streaming are both available Create and collaborate with team in creation of engaging, strategic presentations to best present Paramount portfolio of titles using Photoshop and PowerPoint skills Key point of contact for internal and external Marketing partners, including Theatrical, Paramount Present and assist in communicating critical initiatives and retail marketing updates in account meetings Work with International counterparts to share key takeaways of successfully driven programs to be implemented in other territories Lead the customization of marketing materials for retail accounts Provide creative briefs and oversee internal / legal approval of customer specific marketing assets as needed for accounts (i.e., creative, social, content) Work with cross functional teams including Brand, Creative, Digital Marketing and Operations to ensure timely communication and execution of sales programs Ensure teams monitor and highlight internally, competitive programs at Store Turn each week Further develop the team by outlining Learning and Development curriculum for each individual Lead by example fostering a dynamic, motivated, collaborative, inclusive work environment Oversee direct and in-direct team members on key projects and releases Ensure persistent learnings of the team through executive development and mentoring efforts Become expert and lead direct reports to demonstrate internal business systems; Enterprise (marketing asset management system), Airtable, Salesforce Lead and / or attend and provide feedback in weekly internal meetings Basic Qualifications: 7 years of related experience Analytical skills as it relates to retail, media, digital marketing opportunities Highly proficient in Photoshop & Microsoft Office; Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Additional Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience Experience in digital distribution and/or entertainment industry preferred Strong presentation, planning and organization skills and attention to detail Highly creative and strategic Excellent communication/interpersonal skills, including both written & verbal skills Excellent time management skills; and ability to prioritize workload THRIVES IN A CREATIVE, FAST PACED ENVIRONMENT Able to see opportunities to drive creativity and innovation in an ever evolving marketplace. Successfully influences and energizes others to seek and initiate change with widespread benefit LI-hybrid ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Hiring Salary Range: $110,000.00 – 125,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
