Role Objective:

The Director of Content Partnerships is responsible for stewarding the development and execution of targeted branded content programs for Hulu’s brand and originals titles to deliver best in class programs that deliver client’s goals and objectives.

This includes providing idea generation, recommending partners and media outlets, securing client approval and helping to formulate appropriate budgets and timelines and stewarding to completion.

You will be working in conjunction with strategy and planning teams across the account to help spot consumer relevant trends, conduct brainstorms, prepare and review requests for proposals and apply creative solutions to marketing needs

The role requires a person who is passionate about entertainment media, content, creative, production, and the details that go into taking a program concept from ideation to implementation.

The ideal candidate for this role will have prior experience with an agency with familiarity of the production process, working in a client-facing role.

Responsibilities:

Account Management
Passion for entertainment with knowledge of media fundamentals within the industry
Maintain knowledge of industry news and developments and apply entertainment solutions to content marketing needs
Interface with the marketplace to build partnerships and relationships with key content developers, publishers, and vendors
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Comfortable and confident leading cross department teams and brainstorms for idea generation, and project forwards through execution
Skilled in project management, problem solving, clear and articulate communication, decision making, diplomacy, time management, and professional presentation.
Effortless ability to speak with tact and maintain composure with people at all levels, demonstrate confidence in creative choices and pitch effectively (be a great storyteller), extremely resourceful,
Liaising with clients and media vendors for feedback management.
Able to articulate complex information in an efficient, easily digestible manner
In conjunction with planning, guide programs through legal process and ensure all deliverables meet agency and client legal requirements

Client Management
Embody client service mentality and build valuable relationships with clients.

In partnership with teams, share recommendations and results to clients via formal and informal channels
Understand and articulate client’s specific category expertise and knowledge of competitive landscape to help bring innovative or first to market ideas.
Think conceptually and translate ideas into actual plans to drive client business forward
Ability to collaborate with partner agencies including creative as needed

Team Player
Oversee a variety of projects simultaneously and be a supportive player on other teams’ projects (i.e., provide guidance and support to foster growth and creative thinking among planning teams)
Work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse group of individuals, client accounts, vendors/partners and liaise between buying, planning, and the creative community
Oriented toward working on a team but able to function as an individual.

Qualifications
Proven experience in construction of marketing programs and exposure to contract negotiations
Well-versed in creative development and ideation as well as production and post-production workflows (as it relates to timelines, feedback, etc)
Proven experience writing presentations, creative briefs, summaries of industry news and/or POVs
Exposure to working with creative teams and senior management
Entrepreneurial approach to finding and securing new opportunities
Experience working in an agency or production company, executing branded content a plus
