Director, Business Information Services, Dermatology Franchise Lead

Job Summary (Primary function) As leader within the US Business Operations & Analytics team, the Director, Business Information Services (BIS), Dermatology Franchise Lead is responsible for: 1) establishing strong business partnerships, 2) shaping solution design and delivery, and 3) ensuring cutting-edge operations/systems management in support of the Dermatology franchise.

Key functions include: Development and implementation of Dermatology-related business strategies and applications Management of internal and external teams, platforms, data warehouses, CRM tools, and back-end multi-channel digital execution.

This position directly supports the US Business Unit Dermatology franchise as well as other functional areas as necessary including Compliance, Finance, Clinical and Information Technology.

Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities) Work across the Business Operations & Analytics leads to direct and evolve a sustainable, high performing enterprise data strategy and applicable enterprise solutions for the US Business Unit (USBU).

Drive strategy and execution relating to all BIS Dermatology core deliverables and services.

Primary owner of the BIS Dermatology vertical delivering the following: (1) Master Data Management, (2) CRM system implementation, training, and updates, (3) Data Warehouse design, evolution and data integrations, (4) data feeds, dashboard design and reporting implementation, and (5) primary responsibility for selection, design, and implementation of field-facing third-party applications.

Direct internal and external team members focused on core deliverables such business partnering, solution design, application development, and operational excellence in support of US Dermatology business initiatives.

Collaborate as a solution subject matter expert with US Dermatology business functions such as Sales and Sales Operations, Product Strategy, Medical Affairs, US field commercial and MSL teams, Market Access and Payer teams, Compliance, Finance, and liaise with IT as projects or requirements dictate.

Oversee and provide critical direction to internal and external team resources supporting the delivery of day-to-day operations, sprint planning, and ongoing business enhancements within the vertical.

Provide business partnering to US Business Unit stakeholders—both field and home office – to define, develop, and implement solutions which are both extensible and consistent within BIS and overall strategy Act as primary point of contact in managing key relationships with vendors involved in data aggregation, data reporting, master data management (i.e.

customer master/MDM).

Develop and deliver system and functional training, both individually and through team members, to new and existing users, field-based and home office.

Responsible for the oversight and management of process efficiency relating to the intake, triage, escalation, and resolution related to Dermatology operational and support issues State & Federal Reporting: Work with Compliance, as required, to prepare and deliver all state/federal required reports (monthly, quarterly and annually).

Work in conjunction with Advanced Analytics team to design and implement reusable frameworks to expand data analytics pipelines and offerings to business stakeholders.

Partner with internal Incyte Commercial and IT resources to respond to technical and functional system questions, identify future enhancements and manage development and rollout efforts in business intelligence and report automation.

Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency) Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred.

10-15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

10 years of combined experience in the areas of CRM, master data management processes and platforms, business intelligence software, and data warehouse platforms.

5 years’ of CRM experience with sampling required with demonstrated implementation and management experience.

Previous experience supporting commercial, medical, and other noncommercial applications required.

Advanced understanding of data warehouse processes and systems.

Experience with IQVIA XPO, XPD and HCOS datasets required.

Demonstrated experience as a technical business partner supporting key business partners and groups.

Ability to create the strategic vision and practical implementation of the Dermatology Franchise data management, applications, and reporting deliverables.

Ability to independently manage and coach team members; while also effectively managing own work and the time and efforts of cross functional colleagues and partners.

Proven ability and experience in multi-tasking with a commitment to delivering results within specified time constraints.

Able to work efficiently in a team oriented setting; willing and open to contribute to the team in terms of leadership, adaptability, competence, and execution.

Able to communicate in a clear and effective way both, verbally and in writing, using the appropriate communication techniques and tools.

Innovative problem solving skills – quickly identify potential solutions while considering possible impacts to other individuals and/or systems.
