Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative/business-oriented field, or equivalent practical experience
- 15 years of strategy experience in strategy and commercially-oriented roles
- Experience synthesizing multiple information sources into a framework and advising executive leaders
- Experience managing the strategic planning cycle for an organization with cross-functional engagement and prioritization
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or a graduate degree in Management, Engineering, or a technical field
- People management experience
- Tech/media/telecom company experience with a passion for technology
- Ability to bring disparate perspectives and personalities together

As a Director of Strategy for the Ads portfolio of products, you will take ownership and drive the creation of ongoing refreshes of a long-term, portfolio-wide Ads Strategy.
In this role, you will partner with executive leaders to understand the existing product roadmaps, perform market analysis, assess trends, and identify growth opportunities. You will serve as a thought partner to several leaders across the Ads product area and own the narrative of the growth strategy for Ads. You will grow in ambiguity and look for opportunities to collaborate across the organization.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $240,000-$353,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. - Lead team of highly motivated strategists to execute in a fast-paced environment.
- Facilitate the management and ongoing refreshes of Ads long-term, portfolio-wide strategy and drive recommendations for Ads strategic topics.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders supporting the success of the Ads business (e.g., Global Business Organization, Finance, Marketing, Legal, other Product Areas, etc.) and ensure tight alignment of Ads strategy and plans across key stakeholders (e.g. Product Area, Product Area Group), including surfacing duplication of efforts, misaligned road maps, synergistic opportunities, etc.
- Develop content for Board of Director presentations on the Ads business and drive alignment across key executive stakeholders.
- Drive Ads Annual Planning process, working closely with Product Area Groups to develop cross-Ads Annual Plans and build strategic capabilities and frame-workings for Ads Product Area (e.g., data-driven processes, strategic frameworks, analytical tools, etc.).
