Director, Ad Ops (LA/SF/West Coast)

Ad Operations serves as the platform experts that support the activation and execution of digital ad campaigns.

Acts as the liaison between media counterparts and provides strategic and consultative guidance around ad-technology and marketing-technology alternatives and solutions to support client relationships; acts as data implementation experts and manages data governance.

Evaluates new and existing ad technology and/or vendors.

Serves as the solutions expert in matching client and agency objectives/measurement to ad-technology solutions.

Interfaces with multiple client and/or media agency teams to provide desired solutions/outcomes.
Has accountability for the performance and business results of multiple client accounts; leads account decisions, strategies and thought leadership, budget spending and staffing for region Tactically manages multiple teams of subordinate managers; has responsibility for hiring, performance appraisals, coaching and career development Establishes and monitors standards, processes, and communications; develops departmental plans, business, and/or organizational priorities Decisions are guided by client objectives Influences others internally and externally, including senior members of the account Job Responsibilities Guides the development of digital media strategies across multiple client accounts, coaching and guiding subordinate managers in the development of digital media campaigns Coaches subordinate managers to ensure accurate tracking and reporting across client accounts Ensures tags are confirmed to have a Data Protection Agreement (DPA) and comply with regulations (e.g., considered GDPR/CCPA compliant) Serves as the business lead within the market or region, leading the onboarding process of new clients as well as learning for internal and external parties.  Trains, mentors, and develops junior colleagues; holds education sessions about how Ad Ops fits into clients’ processes, Ad Ops’ value proposition and strategic capabilities; documents best practices for internal and external communications/ presentations.  Presents Ad Ops’ value proposition to clients Desired Skills & Experience Problem Solving: Anticipates, recognizes and clearly defines problems using various techniques to systematically analyze, weigh alternatives and propose solutions (Expert)  Relationship Management: Managing existing business relationships, partnerships, and alliances internally and externally (Expert)  Building Talent/ Developing People: Focuses on developing, coaching, and mentoring to enable others to improve performance and to reach their full potential (Expert)  Prioritization: Assesses and ranks issues and tasks in order of importance for taking action (Expert)  Ad Tech Solutions: Knowledge of technology or measurement ad tech solutions, including platforms (Expert)  Leadership Development: Seeking and curating new business relationships and/or solutions; developing solutions using new or existing processes; and building team leadership qualities and soft skills needed to manage up/down/laterally (e.g., ability to navigate and be effective with multiple personalities.
