Xaxis is looking for an experienced Director to lead Headlight US Account Services with senior US client leads at GroupM agencies and Ford Motor Company.

The role is reporting into the VP, Headlight
– who is based in Detroit The role will manage a team of managers and individual contributors Essential to the role is an ability to discover a deep understanding of client needs The candidate must be self-motivated and able to identify and build relationships with key stakeholders and internal teams required to get the job done.

This person will be a primary strategic client facing contact for Ford Motor Company The role will be focused on Ford Motor Company.

As such we are looking for a candidate with experience within with Auto sector The role is focused on client management, providing programmatic strategic direction & client revenue growth.

It also requires deep industry knowledge, long-term business development techniques and programmatic media buying expertise The role not only requires senior relationship building within GroupM agencies, but also problem solving and the creation of strategic growth plans for Ford Motor Company.

Role Responsibilities:

These include, but are not limited to:
Establish revenue growth plans for all Ford Motor Company business units Drive adoption of all Headlight, Xaxis and other WPP products with Ford Hire, train and mentor Account Service team members to be the leaders in programmatic account strategy and execution Evaluate vendor offerings on behalf of individual Ford business units  Align to Ford Motor company and other WPP global contacts Assess current Xaxis/Headlight regional US support structure Strengthen Headlight’s presence and best practices with Ford Manage all meetings, business reviews and updates for Ford US clients Drive revenue growth within budgets of Ford Motor Company Maintain strategic account plan for Ford Motor Company Develop strategic & innovative programmatic solutions for Ford Motor Company in line with digital transformation plans Identify key agency and client stakeholders and developing relationships Uncover real influencers & their individual needs to ensure solutions gain traction Monitor market investment levels, identifying under-investment issues and establishing clear resolution plans with the support of the agency teams Lead thought leadership on cutting edge digital and programmatic advertising for Auto clients Bring together internal Xaxis operational teams to help deliver on roll out to local markets of the strategy that has been agreed Own value monitoring and value communication as part of QBR’s to Ford Motor Company Work with WPP agencies to produce case studies to demonstrate the strategic value to clients Become a trusted partner of agency partner teams and clients so we can continue to collaborate, co-create, do great work and grow revenue Effectively communicate new solutions & concepts to agency and client teams Maintain relationships with senior agency C-level leadership and key clients Act as the bridge between agency, Headlight, (m)platform and external technology vendors when coordinating development opportunities Contribute to Headlight marketing efforts with POV’s, public speaking where necessary Contribute to Headlight and Xaxis product development efforts through bringing vertical market insights, real world client needs and test clients for pilots
Requirements:
Creative critical thinker who can independently identify and solve problems Leader and mentor who can improve the skills of peers and direct reports Minimum seven years experience in Digital Account Management / Leadership with some experience in Auto Experience in managing key clients and internal project teams Proven sales success with clients and/or agencies Digital sales and or account management background to include experience of senior/strategic level interaction with clients Public speaking & presentation skills DSP certification with DV360, The Trade Desk, and Amazon
