Our client is famous for its model cult following, super-soft fabrics and irreverent disposition. The boutique made-in-L.A. denim brand is unique for its genius in keeping an indie spirit while still offering fits and washes that appeal to a wide range of people.

They are looking for a Digital Asset Manager to join their fast-growing team. This role will work with cross-functional partners including but not limited to Creative, IT, E-Commerce, and Marketing to ensure the robust library of content is curated, organized, documented, and catalogued for everyone in the organization to use and maximize for supporting their digital flagship, as well as their wholesale partnerships.

Digital Asset Manager Responsibilities:

• Work closely with cross functional partners to lead the creation and evolution of a digital asset management system (DAM) and catalog focused on streamlining operations and optimized user flows.

• Participate in the vetting, selection, implementation and on-going use and support of a Digital Asset Management platform.

• Help develop, implement and maintain meta-data schemas to tag assets in a way that supports multi-faceted Boolean searches to the lowest levels of detail.

• Ensure that all content is organized and easy to find for everyone in the organization to use.

• Develop and apply asset organization, file system, retention, and naming convention requirements throughout the company

• Develop, implement and maintain security roles for internal users and external partners to ensure content is shared with the appropriate users/parties with the appropriate permission for appropriate time periods.

• Train new employees on the proper use of the Digital Asset Management platform and company digital asset conventions (tagging, file-names, etc.)

• Validate and enforce company Digital Asset Management standards and policies

• Ensure that Digital Assets are properly backed up to protect against hardware failure, ransomware/malware attacks/hacking, accidental or malicious deletion, etc.

• Drive digital organization and operations of all digital assets, including on-model photography for mainline and third party, lookbooks, social, and email.

• Perform digital asset lifecycle maintenance activities, such as digital archiving and asset expiration

• Collaborate with Art Directors to establish and maintain documentation and organization for all asset development.

• Work with cross functional partners to ensure assets are shot, retouched, organized, and delivered to appropriate parties within requested timelines.

• Manage digital asset workflow and report out on progress of all active projects.

• Develop skills and expertise in digital asset curation and syndication by being current with prevailing technologies in the digital world and being able to contribute to the evolution of new content formats.

• Maintain and contribute to standards and governance by being abreast of industry best practices

• May be required to effect changes to images as needed and requested by Creative and Marketing.

• Support with asset and content uploads as needed.

• Other Duties as assigned.

Digital Asset Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Experience with Digital Asset Management systems

• Well organized and highly structured individual, with ability to give attention to detail

• Strong ability to perform core project management documentation, including Status Reports

• Strong communications skills

• Innovative and logical thinker

• Profound project management skills

•Knowledge of ADA, metadata taxonomy, and SEO best practices for assets and digital content a plus

• Solid knowledge of web publishing and content management systems best practices and standards a plus
