We’re growing Become a vital member of our team and our growth.Basic Description:The Department Manager reports to the VP of Business Development and manages the people, projects, and tasks of the eCommerce Team.

The ideal candidate will be a proven team leader that is self-motivated, people-oriented, supportive, fair, and must be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial culture, while demonstrating a dedication, flexibility, and willingness to work long hours including occasional weekends or evenings to meet deadlines and help the eCommerce team reach their goals at top quality and on-time.Job Responsibilities:Help to oversee the work of the eCommerce Department, assign tasks and follow up to ensure the work load is well balanced and completed on-time.Serve as the main point of contact in to and out of the eCommerce team.Model company values in all actions, communications and decision-making.Monitor the success and measure the results of the team’s efforts including: tracking sales and revenue data, reviewing task assignment and productivity, monitoring listing searchability improvements, and other tasks assigned to team members.Provide one-on-one ongoing training of our proven methods and strategies for each member of the team.Adapt new strategies into existing written documentation and procedures to assist in future training.Maintain various other online marketing efforts and online campaigns including: social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube), email, online traffic generation and SEO.Assist team members to work cross-departmentally among the Company’s creative teams including with the: Art Department, Product Development, Sales, Logistics, and Customer Solutions teams.Regularly communicate with the VP of Business Development to discuss strengths, opportunities, and trends in business.RequirementsBasic Requirements:Education: BA in business, marketing, communications or related fields of study.Minimum of 3 years managing a team.Must be willing to develop new ideas, motivate team members, and see projects to their conclusion.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others both internally and externally.Strong bias for action with ability to prioritize, multi-task, tenaciously follow-up, and meet competing deadlines.Extreme attention to detail and willingness to roll up your sleeves and often do some of the dirty work.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with sales, marketing, or eCommerce.Experience with Asana project management or similar digital organizational and collaboration tools.BenefitsDuring these difficult times, as we ease our way back into the office by exceeding State and Local Government Safety Requirements, this position will report full-time to our HQ in Westlake Village, CA.Our staff works hard and plays hard too.
