SF MOMA, London Design Museum).nn nn n nn nn Your Role nn nnHappiest Baby (HBI) is looking for a Data Compliance Manager to join our team. You will manage multiple compliance initiatives across the company and be responsible for updating and maintaining our compliance programs and documents across multiple risk domains. You will shape the future of compliance at Happiest Baby and your work will have a significant impact and visibility in the organization.

You will build relationships with key team members across multiple departments, aligning department workflows to build a best-in-class compliance program.       nn nn n nn nn Job Responsibilities: nn Operationalize privacy and regulatory requirements cross-functionally across marketing, product and data teams Create and implement internal data governance polices, standards, and procedures for our website, mobile apps and IoT products Assess business processes, including conducting privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) suitable for different situations.

Organize and maintain the compliance library of process maps, risk control matrices, and audit artifacts Manage contractual review processes related to data, including tracking data processing agreements and data protection terms in agreements Identify and drive remediations and process improvements, including building “privacy by design” concepts into processes across the organization    Manage data subject rights requests; develop consumer-friendly education materials and FAQs on data privacy rights Manage IT vendors to ensure compliance with regulations and IT security standards Develop and report metrics and KPIs related to data protection Develop and implement practical training programs and reference materials on global data protection laws and regulations; serve as an internal subject matter expert on data privacy and security Proactively monitor regulatory and industry trends to ensure application of best practices Work globally with business partners to apply common data protection risk controls in a consistent manner relevant to each geography’s different needs nn n nn nn Skills & Qualifications nn 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing and assessing processes and controls to facilitate regulatory compliance, with focus on data privacy and security compliance Experience working cross-functionally and managing complex programs Program management skills with experience influencing, building consensus, and driving change Experience developing internal policies and procedures, communications and training programs related to data protection Ability to operate and react quickly in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with major data privacy regulations, particularly including CCPA, GDPR, CAN-SPAM and/or HIPAA and a demonstrated ability to manage adaptation to fast change in regulatory environments Experience at direct-to-consumer internet companies, including ad-tracking technology, and ability to communicate clearly regarding such technology to non-technical team members Strong work ethic and high ethical standards nn n nn nn Preferred: nn One or more recognized certifications in privacy, security, risk management, and/or program management Experience in e-commerce and digital advertising and/or new technologies, particularly ones involving cookies, tracking pixels, etc.
